Hey Tami,
You did a great job of participating in this week’s discussion. I agree with you that dating is not dead because individuals still look for suitable partners to fit them. However, it may be more difficult for this generation due to the lack of real-life that flows through their daily life. For example, photos for individuals in the early twenties are filtered, and this may be a challenge to those dating because their real-life lacks filters. For the other generations, there may be less meeting because there has emerged of various websites that enhance online dating through narrowing search because they focus on individual interests (Smith & Anderson,2016). However, I think in this era of distancing, dating has changed because of the evolvement of virtual dating. The disadvantage in today’s dating is that committed individuals in dating are nor live together despite the time they spent enjoying various moments.
