Sociological Crime Theory
The sociological crime study, deviance and, delinquency focuses on social and structural issues such as interaction, social disorganization, and, poverty which results in crime and deviance behavior in different places that are affected by criminal and unconventional practices (Athens, p.13). The theory, therefore, the emphasis is that criminal acts are a psychological and biological response to social circumstances resulting in evil behaviors. According to Chalfin, & Justin, the sociological theory provides a commanding perspective of human violence by exploring the stages of the creation of violence and danger and strategies taken to prevent violence cycles (18).
Brutalization video summary
Brutalization in criminology assumes that causes and effects of crime aims to explain a relationship between crime executions and increase in cases of killings. The video shows that brutalization does not respect life resulting in actions deterrent actions of killing. The video shows that brutal execution leaves a brutalization effect resulting in more killing with the same module. According to the video, sociological theory support the evidence of brutalization effects in a society that emphasizes that one brutal death results in a series of other killings with the same impacts.

The violence, which is an observable practice, accounts for differences between abstract violence, which is conceptualized as a cultural practice while physical abuse is visible. To some extent, the violence performance identified as a normality routine, especially for the involved people.
Sociological theory
Sociological context is essential for people who make decisions based on families, friends, and social institutions. Therefore Sociological theories of crime explain a connection between these social factors and crime (Athens, p. 11). The strain sociological theory explains that stressed and strained people are highly likely to participate in crime when upset as a way of escaping the strain
Social structure theories view societal, financial, and social arrangements and functionality of people in a society as the leading cause of deviant and criminal behavior (Kunst et al., p. 3033). The theory emphasizes that lack of education, poverty, cultural values, and lack of experience and skills are issues that cause crime people. The method of crime explanation bases its assumptions on the work of Emile Durkheim (1858-1917), a French sociologist who explains the distinctive arrangement of interaction and living together. People in society engage in crime to reduce societal, financial, and social engagements, especially the issues that cause strain in life.
Social process theories view deviant and criminal behavior as an evolving mechanism learned through societal interaction. It assumes that cooperation with the society, institutions and, organizations makes people meet from different walks of life, increasing their possibility of becoming criminals if they join destructive social connections. People‘s association with others makes them learn, be enforced, beliefs or being exposed to crime models, which increase their chances to engage in criminal activities. Such people use their situations to justify a crime
Social development theories assume that socialization affects an individual learning process by explaining the concept of consciousness and awareness due to socialization (Chalfin, & Justin, p.18). The theory views deviant and criminology behaviors as part of a maturational process as a result of society. According to Kenney et al., social development conforms that people generate needs and desires, which may be satisfied by crimes rather than doing the right thing during development (2213). Hence, people participate in sin because they cannot control themselves.
The social issues that arise from the videos are poverty, use of drugs and, social disorganization is associated with violence and crimes in society. According to the video, people commit a crime to meet their daily needs, use drugs to deal with stressful events, and also learn from thorough society peers or being introduced to crime by others within a society (Evans, p. 9). Also, Parental neglect an lack of self-control issues in the videos that cause corruption in the community whereby people commits offenses due to unfortunate circumstance they are born.
The purpose of sociological theory is to allow scientist s and researchers to learn and explain human behavior compared to the whole society. Its role is to help understand social orders and what causes social changes resulting in crime (McCaghy et al., p. 24). The sociological theory focuses on explaining crime connection to social factors to represent elaborate efforts to understand the origin of crime in society. Social environment features provide different accounts for why the social environment causes crime, especially individual differences in crime. Some organization has a higher rate of crimes compared to others which are explained using sociological theory. According to Rimke, the role of social theory is to solve crimes, basing the content on social influences by telling why people take the decision to commit a crime and choose a logical judgment that the reward of evil is higher than the cost of crime (11).
In conclusion, sociological theory is crucial to explain the deviance and crimes increase in modern society. It is essential for people in the justice sector to understand the personality disorders and societal issues that create anti-social behaviors resulting in crime. Clearly, understanding sociological theory helps to explain crimes that happen in reality. More research on sociological theory is required to provide evidence-based information that can be used in today’s justice against crimes arising from societal issues.
