Managing Technology and Innovation
The management of Technology and Innovation is an inevitable concern in high end innovative and technological firms. Contemporarily, the majority of innovations have been limited to countries like Europe, Japan, China, and the United States, while developing Nations have been left behind in the field of management and innovation of technology (Ali, Ullah, and Khan, 2009: 11). Nonetheless, managing technology and innovation is becoming an essential topic of rapid development and progress for developing States. Management of technology and innovation in developing countries is regarded by nature to be problematic that is characterized by political instability, governance conditions, lack of world-class learning research institutions, low level of education, and inadequate business concepts. It is essential to have both conceptual and theoretical frameworks to manage technology and innovation in developing nations. There are challenges and issues in the management of innovation and technology that require solutions for developing countries to thrive.
Managing technology and innovation in developing countries is essential because it will enable them to come up with ways to deal with disruptive changes. Both countries and organizational management would be able to learn how to lead the country and the firm to success by both leveraging and anticipating disruptive changes that are brought about by market and technological trends (Ali, Ullah, and Khan, 2009: 7). The future of organizations today depends on their ability to leverage and adapt to disruptive business and technological models. As such, it is beneficial for organizational management to stay up to date with the development of technology.
There is distinct information that is beneficial in enabling firms to leverage and adapt to the changing technological environment. The kind of information that I will require to answer my research topic is how changes in the management of technology and innovation have affected the growth of organizations. Besides, I also need information that can help company management learn how to lead firms to success despite leveraging and anticipating changes that are brought about by market and technological trends.
