Roles in soceity are different, and the social norms are the main factors that limit diversity at workplace or job opportunities. The soceity have more favour towards men compared to women. It is a fact that career development and advancement among men is higher compared to women. The concept of balance is unattainable when there are inequality and discrimination among gender. This kind of thinking in soceity reduce progress among the minority gender groups. Recognition in an organization setting or any business is different as women are termed as slow but sure meaning they are better in handling sensitive and intellectual duties or tasks. The unequal measure of recognition reduces cohesion and cooperation in an organization. Equity in treatment would promote performance and diversity.
