POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
A certain woman, Barbra Carroll, was overcharged for ordering three cartons of toilet paper rolls from amazon. She bought the three cartons at 88,77 dollars but charged $7,455 as the shipping fee! She relaxed, waiting for Amazon to reach out to no avail. She later decided to seek compliance with the company and even wrote to the CEO, Mr. Jeff Bezos himself. She was notified that she wouldn’t be refunded because the delivery was on time and unscathed. The story reached the media gave Amazon compelling reasons to reimburse her after two months.
If I had assumed the position of the chief executive officer of the amazon company, I would be quite concerned by the complaint posted by Barbra Carroll. The shipping fee was quite exorbitant when compared to the amount cost on the toilet papers. I would address the matter quickly before it gets out of hand by reimbursing the complainant. Amazon is a very big company and cannot unable to give a payback of $7000.
