Social Work Improvement
Social work theory refers to evidence-based explanations of behavior or stimuli. Therefore, it is crucial to indulge in scientific data and research in the implementation of theories in social work. Social work research has witnessed numerous health care concerns over the last two decades. Not only does social work research lead to the discovery of new treatment methods, but it also solves the current medical problems at hand (Wentworth, 2019). There are numerous social problems in society today; therefore, it is essential to include evidence-based data and information in health care promotion.
Quality health care is the most factor to consider in promoting community development. In that sense, we must look at research data showing the percentage of client’s readmitted within thirty days of the discharge due to poor-quality care. The technique used in this research is the quantitative method. For example, new social workers in California cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco were 378, 495 in 2003 (Bronner, 2017). This figure was 20% of the total sample size. Also, total reimbursements per enrollee in the same year was; 7595 for the adjustment in age, sex, and race while 6753 was for adjustment in price, age, and sex. According to Bronner (2017), despite data from the institution’s website showing patient readmission, this project has demonstrated improved health care for patients.
In conclusion, these
in health care differ across different cities in the United States. Nonetheless, the use of scientific research data in social work mitigates the challenges in measurements associated with health care. Only by improving the provision of adequate resources to social workers will we see a surge in proper health care. All in all, more funding is supposed to be allocated to the health care industry to aid in community development.
