Week 1

Determining what was expected of me in the project by attending the first lecture.
Meeting with the industry partner to learn more about the company and project.
Brief introduction of the company and the project expectations by the industry partner.
I began to understand about the AMN406 project.
By the end of the engagement, I knew that the project’s goal was for students to develop professional skills.

Week 2

(I was apprehensive about group work due to previous experiences)

We created a group that was composed of people from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures.
Lack of cohesion and cooperation among group members resulting in confusion and delays within the group.

Week 3

Week 4

Preparing a project plan.
We were supposed to start executing the first and second assignments.
Present our understanding of the project, ideas, and questions to the industry partner.
We were able to develop an excellent project plan that would enable us to complete the project on time.
The meeting with the industry partner resulted in a better understanding of the project
I was exposed to new opportunities and increased my capacity to learn more.

Week 6

Last-minute Q&A for assignment 1.
Finalization of literature review for assignment 2.
The Q&A session enabled me to clarify several issues and express my ideas to fellow group members.
Learned about the steps and procedures involved in writing a useful literature review.

Week 7

I will reflect and recap on the skills and knowledge I had acquired during the previous six weeks
I will consult with the supervisor concerning the finalization of the objectives of assignment two.
I will hand in A1.
I expect to develop a better appreciation of teamwork and the importance of group work
From the consultation, I expect to gain more clarity on the assignment and mainly on the SWOT and Target analysis that I am in charge of in the group.
I will have finished the individual assessment and handed it in successfully.

Week 8

I plan to gather knowledge pertaining development of solutions for the project by consulting the supervisor.
I will also find out all the details of the third assessment. Acquiring this information will help focus my research.
I believe that from the discussion with the supervisor, I will be able to develop several approaches for conducting the SWOT and Target market analyses.
Moreover, I will also be better positioned to guide my fellow group members on the strategies to execute the project.

Week 9

I plan to be already underway in writing the SWOT analysis.
As a group, we plan to present our preliminary findings and suggestions for tackling the industry partner’s challenge.
I will elaborate on the SWOT and Target analysis approach solutions that I would have come up with
By the end of this week, I expect to have completed the SWOT analysis for the industry partner and share it with my group.
I will refine or change the ideas from the presentation and suggest that I have developed to meet the industry partner’s requirements.

Week 10

This week, I plan to present my ideas to the supervisor and seek further clarification on industry and academic theory interaction.
I will also seek to get the supervisor’s opinion on the areas that, as an individual and as a group, we should be focusing on.
I expect to get guidance and further clarification on the areas that I might seem insufficient.
I will do this to ensure that the solutions that I have developed are applicable in actual industry and not just in theory.

Week 11

By this week, I will have completed the target market analysis, which I will also share with my fellow group members.
I plan to consolidate all the research that I have conducted in writing the SWOT and Target market sections of assignment two.
I will also consult the supervisor for any consultations if the need arises.
By sharing my target market analysis information with my fellow group members, I expect to bring clarity and integration in our project.
By the end of this week, I expect to have a conclusive presentation of my project work portion.
The clarifications will help point us in the right direction.

Week 12

With the help of Wang, my teammate, I will write the executive summary after concluding the SWOT and target market analyses.
We will join together the entire document from the contributions of each member of the group.
I believe that I will be able to understand different approaches to executive summary writing.
I expect that by the end of this week, each group member will have completed their part of the work, and we will be able to consolidate the document and do the first editing.

Week 13

I will go through the entire document for the final editing.
I plan to seek clarification from the supervisor if the need arises.
I will also share my experiences with my fellow students
From the editing, I hope to develop the best organizational structure for the A2 and ensure that it is coherent.
I believe that at this stage, our project will have met all the requirements
I will submit the final draft this week and the solutions I came up with to the industry partners.
