Concept:
An Application that provides the queue system or token number system in their phones to all people who are in the respective places such as Hospitals, Hotels, Offices, Institutions. These places can enroll in the application and set up their different departments or functions where there is a queue or token system required. This enables the user to do many tasks after collecting the token and be on time for the visit when the token number is called for.
The application can also notify us whenever the concerned official or person in charge has taken a break or gone for lunch, or any other hindrance caused. The app can allow its users to set a reminder. All places can efficiently conduct their services using this application. The application can charge a fee from the organizations that use the application and make a profit.
Proposed systems
A lot of time is lost in queues in hospitals, offices, and public institutions. Many places have a visual presentation of the token number or lot number on a screen in a particular place. Still, if we have to attend other tasks such as buying something or having food in between, it would be a lot easier if we have the tracker on our phone, and we can also set a reminder at a certain token number. This eliminates our necessity to stay at the same place where the screen is showing the token number and also continue watching it.
It can save a lot of time for many people. It also saves the places where such a system is required to conduct its activities efficiently. It cuts down the organization’s infrastructural costs, helps inefficient running of the organization, allows users as a single application system can be used to track their token number and help them to be on time for their appointment. People do not need to contact the helpdesk executives frequently to keep asking them about which token number is being called. People do not need to sit in one place and keep their eyes fixed on the screen.
For Example, A hospital can enroll in the application and set up different departments or functions like Neurology, Cardiology, or Psychiatrist. The users can enroll in and select their respective department or function, and the mobile screen will show you which token number is in the room, say, for example, 543. If our number is 567, we can set a reminder at 562 or any number as per the user’s choice. If its 1 p.m. and the doctor has gone for lunch, the app can notify the same.
Advantage:
People can come to the office, take their appointment, and do any necessary tasks, and plan according to the token number being called. The organizations can also alert in the application if there is any delay caused or if the concerned official has taken a break. This will take away the problems caused by the impatience of people. It eliminates their need to ask always about the status of their token number.
It would decrease the rush outside the concerned office since everything is organized. Sometimes, we may be waiting in a hospital for the doctor, and we may skip the lunch in fear that we may miss our appointment. This app will notify whenever the doctor is away or has taken a break or gone for lunch, and we can plan accordingly. We can also set a reminder and maybe take a nap. The application can notify us when the token number is five numbers before us or any other setting as we choose. The organizations can also cut down on persons who have to call in the next visitor. The application allows smooth functioning of the business, cost-cutting, better understanding, and user friendly since everybody can use this single app for whichever office they go.
