1st Peer Post

The post was an interesting one considering that you touched on what is essential in becoming a leader. You have talked about your lessons from the leadership by General Electric’s CEO Jack Welch. Your reasons for making the CEO an exceptional leader is also interesting. I believe that every leader responsible for creating a successful enterprise should be congratulated for the achievement. Leadership is about achieving an almost impossible fit in the market. It involves an aspect of human resources to promote and transfer the right skills that focus on investing in an organization (Hussain, 2018). Your discussion on your experience as a Human Resources employee is also great considering that it touches on skills critical in influencing leadership. It is the role of all leaders to focus on human development and align it with their organizations’ operational background.

2ND Peer Post

The lessons you have discussed in this post have influenced me to think more about the true leadership position at the end of the day. The position of a coach/mentor is somehow a central factor to consider in developing leadership. You have talked about Campbell’s Soup CEO Denise Morrison, as an important coach in his organization. You have touched on him as an important negotiating factor in providing solutions to problems in the same capacity. Employees need to be coached on how possible it is for them to remain an asset in an organization’s operations and competitive aspects (DuBrin, 2015). It is the role of a company to promote a culture that invests heavily in employees’ manpower and skills.
