Leadership in an organization
Leadership in an organization is a crucial function that needs to be taken care of now and then. According to the research done, performance is positively impacted by behavior and the leaders’ conduct in an organization. Typically, the junior workers and other heads of departments tend to act, and like the senior leaders whom they feel treat them well. Good behavior attracts a lot of respect and discipline. Moreover, a well-behaved leader can manage him/herself with every task assigned a specific time, thus increasing the organization’s overall performance. Besides, a good leader is the one who has followers who are eager to hear, learn, earn, and follow whatever their outstanding leader has to offer. However, leadership is usually dependant on the existence of individual abilities to nurture and exercise leadership to other people.
Process innovation involves enacting a new process in the procedures used to produce a product in a factory or organization. Firm’s efforts are pumped and channeled toward this important phenomenon to gain undefeatable competitive advantages over firms offering or producing similar goods or services. Besides, this particular process involves all aspects of assessment chain actions. To give an illustration, Henry Ford invented a simplified vehicle manufacturing process, which reduced the time of building a single vehicle from 12 hours to 1 hour 30 minutes. Significantly, with one day, a total of 6 cars can now be assembled, thus increasing production.
On the other hand, product innovation is the ultimate changing of the current product in the market to something new. The existing product functionalities are improved and or added. For example, the latest smartphones have more than three cameras, whereby older versions did not have these fascinating features.
