“We are what we eat.”

“We are what we eat.” Food is an integral part of our lives, which gives fuel to perform our daily activities. I always grew up under my elders’ guidance on what to eat and what not to eat. As I grew up, I was exposed to various cuisines, and my confusion on what to eat and what not to eat increased. I explored a lot on vegan, vegetarian, non-vegetarian food, and my curiosity grew along with me to understand the science behind the food. I aspire to pursue a food science course to find answers to my inborn questions and pursue a career where my passion lies. I wish to express my career aspiration through this statement of purpose and how this course helps my career.
