- In what ways was the Agrarian Revolution causally connected to the Industrial Revolution?
How was life and work on a farm in the north, or a craft shop in the city utterly changed by the need to respond to market competition?
The Agrarian Revolution and the Industrial Revolution are connected in several ways. For instance, the growth of cotton led to the opening of other industries to process cotton. Improved farming techniques led to increased cotton production, thus triggering more production ideas in the industries. The agrarian and industrial revolution are also connected in that the push for adequate land of farming led to migration and in which the human population provided labor to the Industrial sector. The mass production of cotton led to the invention of more industries leading to their connection.
The working conditions in the Northern farms were not as natural as people could be overworked and paid less than the amount of work. Life was harsh, and only a few could manage it. This led to the decline of competition in the market due to decreased output and production.
- Did the drafting and ratification of the U. S. Constitution complete the revolution or constitute a counter-revolution? In what ways did it change how democratic or republican the polity of the United States was?
The drafting and ratification of the U.S Constitution did not lead to the completion of the revolution. This is because there were some of the changes that needed to be made, but disagreements evolved on which ways could work best, and the states that could be favored by the constitution.
The drafting and ratification of the U.S Constitution changed the standard ways of the right to speech, religion, and press. The freedom of people could be limited as the Bill of Rights was being amended. The democrats were denied some of their past practices if the drafting and ratification took place.
- The Industrial Revolution had little to do with and had little if any impact on those traditional ways of southern society and slavery became increasingly less profitable and useful as a way of life between 1790 and 1830? Is this statement generally accurate, or is it wrong? Discuss.
This statement is wrong in a way because the slavery portion was most valued to the production of cheap labor at the developed industries during the period between 1790 and 1830. Many companies needed shoddy work to acquire high amounts of profits, which led to increased slavery.
Southern society was mostly affected as the energetic men were taken to go and work in the industries. This greatly influenced their healthy way of life, and their traditional development ideologies declined. Slavery affected a big part of society as they could be paid less or could work for food leading to suffering to the society members.
