My name is Ava. I’m 15 years old and interested in joining Arts at the Capital Theater to pursue my dreams. My journey toward Arts at the Capital Theater has been driven by the diversity of experiences, comprising academic studies, volunteer effort, and additional undertakings. I first became interested in this school when my family took in students from ACT. From that time, I believed Theatre would be a decent opportunity for me to study at a new school. I plan on studying Theatre at this school to advance my education and provide hope to young boys and girls who are told they won’t do what they envision. This is my key aim, and I would also be capable of giving people this hope by training children.
I was initially interested in this school when my family took in a scholar who joined ACT. This girl had the chances stacked against her because of volatility in her home life, but through support from ACT, she was able to graduate and get awarded quite a few scholarships to UConn, which was her lifetime vision. That is unlikely at a less caring school. I have been interested in theatre theatre since I was first introduced to the Musical Hamilton in 2016. Theatre inspires and motivates people and pushes them to be accountable by accepting and respecting rules and engaging in promptness. Through Theater, people gain listening abilities and work hard to go beyond the anticipated objectives. Theatre unlocks people to undergo diverse views that we may not be conscious of or expect. Theatre’s system of examining monologue, dialogue, and character permits people to flex their understanding muscles. The way the set music, ic cos, times lig, thing, and choreography come together to tell a story is amazing to me. I would perhaps have never been interested in Alexander Hamilton or his legacy if his story had not been told in such an engaging way. Therefore, understanding Theatre aids us in comprehending what it means to be human.
In addition to just Theater, I am drawn to ACT for other motives. Additionally, I have always had a passion for fashion, hair and makeup, so I believe costume design would be very satisfying for me to learn about. I am a kinesthetic learner, so I definitely learn best in a hands-on environment. I believe the hands-on aspect of classes at ACT would help me be more successful in academic classes as well. I endeavour to work with the varied group of persons that ACT passionately accommodates and who also distribute my attitude. They, similar to me, are there since ACT emphasises the worth of diversity. I’m aware from individual knowledge that in order to attain the belief, success, and honesty that ACT values, new individuals are required to make a respectful setting for these standards. This prominence on the variety can also be found in specified departments at ACT.ACT embraces ethnic and cultural diversity.
Nevertheless, this does not separate learners by forcing them to labour with only those persons who trail their detailed discipline. Instead, it is the unified collaboration between amenities that permits each subdivision, from acting to writing, to make an actual education setting that intensely mimics the actual world. Thus, ACT is the perfect and only place for me.
In conclusion, I would like to join the ACT School for its excellence in arts education. The school promotes ethnic and cultural diversity, and it offers a variety of programmes. At the school, I can pursue additional programmes to add to my knowledge. Also, ACT provides educationally inspired scholars with everyday access to exceptional learning practices that blend traditional high school scholars with the arts.
