A wireless network

Question one

A wireless network describes a digital system that utilizes data connection to create a connection between nodes of the net. The methods of wireless networking involve the application of business installation and telecommunication networks to avoid the cost of buying and introducing cables into the building. These wireless telecommunication networks are administered and implemented by the use of radio communication. Implementation of wireless telecommunication takes place at the most layer of the OSI model in network structure (Liu et al., 2016). Some of the broadcast networks involve terrestrial microwave network, satellite communication networks, wireless sensor networks, wireless local area network (WLANs), and cell phone networks. The risk of attack over this network goes up when there is the deployment of a local area network in all type of field.

There several fundamentals that should be mind when deploying a wireless network. First, we need to understand how and what frequency is used by the deployment’s equipment. Second, wireless technologies and mobile have a trend with high rate since the introduction of the first radio signal in the 1900s. Due to the introduction of this communication gadgets and devices, there is a significant transformation in business and many centers of social interactions (Comer, 2018). The reason behind this great transformation is that many fields of internet access do not depend on a wired system. For instance, instead of using a modem to access the network, the mobile phone has an access point of hot spots. Even today, much public building, private home, commercial building, educations institutions, hotels, and airports have installed network access points.

There are several cons and pros of using wireless networking. First, wireless networking is more efficient since it creates an opportunity for transiting information from business to external network at high speed. Also, it makes it possible for one to communicate at any time without connecting adapters and cables to access the business network. Second, data communication by use of the wireless network is more of cost saving since it is cheaper and easier to install a wireless network in the building where a permit for cable installation is denied. Third, with the wireless network, it is more flexible since one is capable of working away from the office at any time (Li et al., 2018 ). However, despite all those advantages, there is some potential disadvantage that wireless network possesses. First, the wireless network is more exposed to data insecurity, thus leading to the acquisition of unauthorized information. Ultimately, the wireless network has coverage limits that lead to no signals or black spots to those who are outside the access points.

Question 2

Are you looking forward to convincing us that wireless network, which is a digital device, is obtained through sampling a continuous-time using an analog to digital devices? Anyway, I tend to disagree with your response. First, your answer is more focus on the process of wireless networking than focusing on its deployment. For instance, in this response, more of the time has been spending explaining to us how digital communication, which is a wireless network operates. If Harishkumar was a bit wise, he could spend time illustrating on advantages and disadvantages of digital communication instead of showing us how its operation. Bearing in mind that the primary purpose of that post was to discuss data communication convey through the wireless network mainly, thus there was the need for the Harishkumar to include something about it, but unfortunately, he did not illustrate anything to do with data communication.

Additionally, he was not wise enough to respond to the cons and pros of the digital method of wireless data communication. However, the way he has stood to react to the process of wireless network communication, it’s a bit reasonable since he has expressed it in details. For instance, the case of claiming that in the wireless network, typical signals are the electromagnetic field and currents that are used to transmit information from one sender to receiver is more reasonable. Although he missed a score on the beginning of the response by expressing much on communication rather than data communication, his answer is more accurate on the explanation of how wireless network operates. The response would be more accurate if there it could begin by discussing what a wireless network, the fundamental concerns about wireless network and lastly, talk on the cons and pros of the digital method of data transmission using the wireless network is. Also, it would be more advisable to discuss the analog-to-digital convert by claiming how the analog system is used to convey information on the digital system.

Question 3

What are the needs of clarifying your response in point form? The kind of alignment that you have made your response based on the issue one is more reasonable. From the introduction of the wireless network to the conclusion its full of logic response. For example, the way introduction had been made that wireless network is means of connecting devices to the internet without the deployment of cables and concluding on cons and pros of digital means of wireless data communication transmission. However, the response did not meet the need to discussing the concern that should be acknowledged about transferring information from one medium to another by the use of wireless networks. Also, this response did not meet the requirement of a reasonable response since in discussing the pros and cons of wireless networks, the points lack supportive information. For instance, instead of the reaction explaining to us how the wireless network is more efficiency, the answer is just left incomplete. Therefore, to the make an appropriate response it would be more advisable to explain how the wireless network is more efficiency, portability, flexibility, less costly, Initial configuration, speed limit, security threats, and coverage. For example, it would be more accurate if the response could explain that the wireless network is less costly since one does not incur the cost of buying and installing cables to access the network from the access point. In the introduction part, the sentence is fugue since there is a lot of repetition, for instance claiming that wireless network is a system that does not require wires for information transmission and internet can be connected without the deployment of physical cable is just same thing, with similar meaning.
