Accessing your Email on iPhone 11
The first step to ensure that you access your Email on iPhone 11 is by adding an email account to your phone. Your iOS device supports a variety of email providers such as Google, Yahoo, iCloud, and Outlook, so you can be sure of being accommodated. Importantly, a user can set up an email account on their iPhone 11 either automatically or manually (Apple Support, n.d.). One could set up their email account automatically with just their username and password. First, go to the settings app on your phone, then choose the “passwords & accounts” option. From there, the user can choose “Add account” and then select their email provider. Your phone will list a few conventional email providers, Google being the most preferred. Once you choose your email provider, a login page would follow where you will input your username and password. From there, hit “Next” and wait for your Email to be verified. Upon verification, you could choose information from your email accounts, such as Calendars or Contacts. Tap “Save” once you are done. From this point, you will be accessing your emails using the “Mail” app.
A user could manually set up their email account by tapping “Other” on the page where the list of email providers is provided (Apple Support, n.d.). However, the user must know the email settings of their account. If you do not know them, then you could contact your email provider or look them up. First, go to the settings app on your phone, scroll down, and select “Passwords & Accounts.” On the next page, you should choose “Add Account,” and then tap “Other.” You should select “Add Mail Account” as the next option. The next step is about entering your login information and description of your email account. Once done, tap “Next,” wait a few moments, and then select “Done” to finish the account setup once the settings have been found. If the email settings cannot be found, you will have to add them manually and tap “Save” to finish.
