Human life is priceless and has no substitute. As a result, adoption of apt leadership competencies is not a choice but a prerequisite as far as the preservation and safety of human health are concerned.

Regarding this, a personal assessment rubberstamped my adherence and qualification to the standards of ACHE leadership competencies. My qualification to the ACHE leadership competencies was primarily centered on the fact that in my healthcare practice, I expansively upheld pivotal healthcare strategies. All these strategies were principally inclined towards strengthening and improving the level of competencies, thus ascertaining my qualification to the ACHE leadership competencies.

Nevertheless, some of the recommended strategies geared towards improving and strengthening weaknesses exhibited in competencies include organizational or self-assessment strategy, group or team development strategy and the job description or employee selection strategy. More so, the focal point of all these strategies is precisely building on strengths and improving on weaknesses (Budak & Kar, 2014). However, the strategies can also be narrowed down to perform specific competencies enhancement roles.

Besides, the self-assessment strategy provides very fundamental data in the planning of performance as well as review. On the other hand, team development widely acts as a linkage between personal performance and organizational goals. As for the employee selection strategy, it makes it possible to view beyond the scope of an individual. The strategy, therefore, provides a good understanding of the makeup of an entire workforce hence making it possible to identify strengths, weaknesses, and the existing gaps within an organization (Capasso & Dagnino, 2014).
