My network objective is to acquire a strong network within the film production industry.
The purpose of engaging in this network is to distribute my newly designed screenplay product to film production. The product will enhance film production, and thus I will engage in distributing it in the whole filming industry.
The movie producer is target contact person since they are the party involved in the production and thus, they will appreciate my screenplay more.
The kind of relationship I would aspire to create is professional, through that I will be able to separate professional life from private life.
The intention of providing the screenplay is because I would like professional feedback from the producer.

The most appropriate network is the London screenwriter’s festival which if achieved will promote the realisation of my objectives.
The contact approach will be visiting the annual festival in London intending to meet the producer.
Communication will be through the screenwriter movie news platform; through the platform, I will reach not only the company but also its customers.
My approach will present myself as a professional screenwriter who is willing to provide professional services to the producer.
If my services don’t appeal to the customer, I will take the initiative to develop it further based on the instruction I will receive from the client.
The producers’ interest in my services would be a milestone towards achieving my goals; for this reason, therefore, I would undertake more training in screenwriting to improve the quality of my services.

The young Business networks
The Newcastle based network was established to promote entrepreneurship among the youths. There are various benefits which accrue from being part of the network. The network provides young entrepreneurs with information necessary to guide them in their new venture. The information which the organisation provides includes, information about the industry of interest. The networking opportunity arises due to engaging with a player who has already been exposed to the industry.
The network also provides a mentorship platform through which the entrepreneurs get directions on how to carry out their businesses. The network also motivates young entrepreneur encouraging them to continue with their new ventures. The mentors used in the network provide inspirations to the entrepreneurs making them believe in their dreams and aspire to push their innovations ahead. The benefits accrued from the association with the network platform will enable new investors to receive the necessary guidance.

Seeking and relaying of information within networks is essential; the following are ways of seeking and providing information.
Information seeking- information retrieval, the information may be retrieved from the networks data mines. Referring to experience – experience on how the system behaves may be used to give insight into the expectations. Observing the trends- trends within an industry provides information about the network.
Information providing- uploading it to database, after accessing the information it can be uploaded to the database for access to the players within the system. Directing the information to specific users- under this, the information is given to the people who require it for decision making. The information can also be delivered through the intermediaries within the network.
Activity 2A
Creating new relationships creates new opportunities and may lead to more strengths.
Relationships should be repaired promptly to avoid a competitor taking advantage of the situation and creating a relationship with the other party.
Parties always advocate for fairness within a relationship, selfishness on the part of one party will lead the other party to withdraw which may cause more harm than good.

Taking notes during a negotiation enables one to have a point of reference when raising their concerns.
The approach provides a more objective driven negotiation and saves time during negotiations.
Creating a win-win situation enables both the parties to come into consensus faster.
Engaging a third party enables brings control to the negotiation process as the third party becomes the mediator.

Issues concerning the parties in a relationship ought to be communicated in a manner which is acceptable by all the parties. The platform in which the relationship is based must be flexible to accommodate any changes in the relationship.

The policies guiding the relationship ought to be adhered by all the parties in the relationship. The policies such as the privacy policy, terms and conditions upon which the relationship is bound ought to be acceptable by each party without any coercion.

Having a goal for creating any form of network acts as the motivation to undertake a given adventure. Networks in the media industry promote advancement within the career.
There are various means through which a relationship can be created within a business platform. First, the person intending to be involved in business can act as a linkage between two or more different parties and serve a gap which may have existed. Another approach is creating chaos in the system to fit in and provide the solution under this; the relationship may be created by disconnecting already connected parties and then stepping in to offer a solution. The approach is used by brokers.
Approaches adopted to reach a potential client are determined by; age, location and also the status of the client. At the current information technological age, the use of current technology is inevitable. Means such as social media and electronic mail may be used to relay the message.
A company may engage in various forms of events which include; team building events, welfare-based events, exhibitions of the company’s products among other events.
Organisations exist to solve clients needs and want while ensuring they make a profit; the requirement of the firm, therefore, will be aligned with the objective s of the organisation. The client on the other and seeks to ensure that they acquire satisfaction from the acquired products while maintaining value for money.
Negotiations allow the two parties to come into consensus, due to this the two parties end up getting satisfied. Negotiation also allows the client to get value for the agreement reached.
BATNA is an acronym used in the field of business used to mean the best alternative for a negotiated agreement. The approach is undertaken by the negotiator if the negotiations are unsuccessful. It’s the negotiators take from an unsuccessful negotiation.
Advantages of being a specialist include; improved skills of performing a given task, the specialisation improves one’s productivity which may attract better compensation and improves one’s self-esteem among colleagues. The disadvantages which might accrue are; the specialist maybe exploited and overworked. The specialist may fail to receive better compensation for their skills. It might cause inequality in the job place if the specialist is treated specially.
A feedback process is a mechanism set aside to relay information from some sources. It is mainly used for research purposes.
A presentation has to be appealing to the audience; the presentation also has to brief and full of meaning. The colours used in a presentation affects the outcome of the presentation, especially when using audiovisual.
The slides should not contain too much information as the audience might get bored within the presentation. The font used should be clear, and a slide should use the same font.
Promotional initiatives based on customer and other stakeholders’ feedback is a strategic approach towards exploiting an opportunity. The information provided in the feedback will guide the organisation to undertake customer-tailored promotion thus leading to customer satisfaction.
