Advice regarding drinking habit to Claudia
Pregnancy is one of the fundamental stages in human life; it is the stage that should b carefully handled to minimize the negative outcome, which might result in loose of the life of the unborn before the time due. Drinking Is one of the most common practices which has resulted in prenatal mortality. Therefore care should be exercised while drinking to prevent the instance of the infant pre-birth mortality and also to improve the healthy development of the child.
For the case of Claudia, the most desirable amount of wine that is acceptable for pregnant women is one glass a day. Any drink more than a glass a day affects the development of the child directly. Claudia should, therefore, instantly minimize drinking habits to safeguard and promote the active development of her child.
The risks associate with drinking two glasses of wine a day.
Consumption of alcohol results in direct entry of alcohol into the baby’s blood system. This occurs since there exist free passage of alcohol through the placenta to the baby, continuous consumption of alcohol result in babies born with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) condition.
According to (CDC 2018), there is no safe period for pregnant women to consume alcohol. This is because during the consumption at whatever time, wine directly passes to the child’s bloodstream. Continuous drinking of the wine by pregnant woman resulting in congenital disabilities such as the occurrence of the child abnormal facial features, this mainly prevails as a result of drinking in the first trimester.
Drinking of wine, which contains an alcoholic substance, also impacts the development o the child nervous system, this results in the occurrence of underweight birth. This mainly occurs as a result of drinking alcohol at any given time. Therefore consumption of two glasses, which is already more than advised one glass will pose a risk of a child born with underweight problems.
The ideological belief of the drinking of two glass es of wine for better growth o the baby is unproven, infect it’s a grave mistake for the development of the child. This is because any amount of wine, which is also an alcoholic drink, is harmful to the child’s development regardless of the quantity. Pregnant women should, therefore, avoid such misconceptions. Despite the required one glass of one a day, and consumption of wine is often harmful to the development of the child.
The age of a woman does not have a significant impact on the formation and development of the child. Therefore, at any respective age, drinking will result in a direct effect on the health of the baby. This is because the impact of alcohol remains constant as the individual consumes alcohol.
Another vital factor in consideration is the first time pregnancy. This approach plays a crucial role because while ensuring that drinking habits are avoided in the early pregnancy, it paves the way to healthy future pregnancies as well. First-time pregnancies also impact directly on the perspective of the mothers. They are often not aware of the appropriate methods to take care of the baby. This often results in gathering information on the same. Therefore the induvial should ensure that they visit medical providers for any form of guidance to avoid misconceptions, which might negatively impact the development of the child.
