Analysis and Design Information Systems
Using three different cities solve the general problem of how to predict services. Your project is to create an information system / prototype to use data that is in the Open Data sources. The purpose is to compare the three cities. Use data related to the fields bellow as a reference. You can select any group of data. The important thing is to have the same fields in all cities and related to the service delivery/calls/attention. The main idea is that you have a combination of data from GPS and events that happens in the cities. Try to think how you could contribute to improve the services with the appropriate use of the data available. You need to start with organizing data up to describing the information system that you could use. Be very clear in which questions you want to solve. Clarify your assumptions!!! You will see in the reality how structured big data is created and you can use it.
Remember in this case the problem is risk management in the sense that you require good data to be prepared to manage services delivery and to define metrics for performance evaluation ad possible changes in the results. Follow all steps of Analysis and Design Information Systems theory.
Use open data. For example some websites are:

The fields that you need to control, based on events occurrences, are the following (compare the data bases structures and find the best way to use/integrate data
occ_num – occurrence sequence number
occ_date – occurrence date
occ_time – occurrence time
time_recei – time of the event call
case_type – event type
initial_ca – reason of the call (this is very important, this is text)
priority – priority (find the scale)
district – location
how_receiv – the way to contact to report the event
x_coordina – GPS location
y_coordina – GPS location
final_case – description of the case/ it is open closed…
translation – interpretation of the call type of event
year_ year date
month_ month date
weekday – week day date
BlockFace – area /intersections geographical description
last_updat – last information of the case
