I have a 38 years old uncle who is married and have four children and happened to be a victim of 9/11 event which killed hundreds of Americans although he survived. Furthermore, six weeks later, after the event, he was presented to a psychiatric clinic after the event after a friend recommended him to psychiatric professionals. Before the episode, my uncle health seemed to be well. He used to work as a technician where he used to repair lift in the machine room that used to be located off the 33 floors of the building adjacent to the World trade center building before the bomb went off on September 11, 2001. Just on the moment of the bomb blast, he flipped off the lift he was repairing, and due to the electric shock; he thought that the explosion was as a result of his fault. He was traumatized because he felt that he caused the death of his three friends that succumbed because of the electric shock. He was also fascinated by the sudden darkness and dust that went all over the place, and he too thought that he would not survive. He heard moment later, a colleague calls, and he was relieved that he had survived. He was taken to the staircase and filled with blood stains and smelling blood with a lot of fear because of many lying dead bodies. My uncle must have suffered from acute stress disorder as well as a post-traumatic stress disorder. For instance, he has been experiencing nightmares, flashbacks, and persistent avoidance of any stimuli that remind one of the traumas of general responsiveness.
The Hebrew was a prophet who lived in a time when the nation was confused, which represented anxiety and uncertainty. Egypt and Babylon always threatened the Judah. Our faith in the words of Jeremiah is undergirded and supported by the personal commission with God. In Jeremiah 1: 4-5, the lord had already appointed him to become a great prophet in the nation even before he was formed in his mother womb. Ezekiel 33: 21 showcases much transition when Ezekiel prophesies with many messages of hope. In John 10: 11- 18, the message of hope in Ezekiel words applies to the story of the lost sheep and the straying flock. Besides, Ezekiel words are full of hope to repentant individuals in all places and in all times.
Also referred to as the weeping prophet, he was an inspiration of observation of Jesus although his people rejected him. Besides the personal loss, the Hebrew Bible showcases his greatest loss. For instance, he was a victim of loss of the land to the Babylonians and the temple of Jerusalem. The lord appeared to Ezekiel, as Ezekiel 24: 15- 1 showcase the greatest loss indeed of a prophet who moaned differently from normal customary practices. Despite the hardship of loss of the temple and his wife and it would benefit the Israelites as Ezekiel 19: 27 states. As such, the trouble that Ezekiel goes through is meant to show that the God of Ezekiel is truly the lord.
