Introduction

In daily life everyone experience anxiety in one way or the other. The feeling of anxiety worst feels one can tell around the world. Anxiety makes people live in worries or even in fear of what might happen in life or what might not happen. Stress causes people to live a life of fear and might lose focus on growth. Most of the people having anxiety may seek treatment or live under medication which aid to overthrow anxiety. When a person lives in constant fear, every opportunity around dodges away as a result of doubt (Tuma,2019). Thus, the person becomes worried in turn the worries lead to fear that cause anxiety. Therefore, when anxiety feeling becomes persistent in-person life, anxiety disorders develop in the body.

Psychologists state that anxiety disorder develops from four etiological causes which include; psychodynamic, biological causes, maladaptive behaviors, and cognitive causes (Tuma,2019). The four categories of anxiety disorders include; Phobias, Generalized anxiety disorder, Panic disorder, and Obsessive-compulsive disorder. Every ailment depends on individual characteristics based on symptoms caused by different things.

Types of Anxiety Disorders

Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Generalized anxiety disorder comes when a person happens to have prolonged anxiety and worry feeling in life, approximately about six to seven months or even might happen when the person becomes unthreatened for instance from any danger. The disorder focuses on specific circumstances of life. For example, the keeping of job, the well-being of families as well as friends, and even household issues in the family. The circumstances may never give the reason for intense anxiety. However, the conditions interfere normal functioning of the person’s body after a prolonged duration of time (Lader,2015).

Generalized Anxiety Disorder physical symptoms consist of; sweating, headache, pounding heart, clammy hands, flushing, diarrhea, muscles aches and muscle tension. On the other hand, the psychological symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder include; irritability, fatigue, insomnia, persistent nervousness, and restlessness (Barlow,2015). Generalized disorder cause lessened functioning of the body as the person becomes unable to control excess anxiety. As a result, persons become insufficient in performing daily obligations in life. The psychological symptoms compounding with physical symptoms may affect the following day body functionality. For example, when a person has insomnia may lead to sleep deprivation. Therefore, the ability of the body become affection as a result of fatigue.

Psychotherapy or medications treat Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Researchers decode that, therapy is one of the treatments having no side effect the patience thus recommending the treatment as the best and capable people. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CTB) is commonly used psychotherapy for the treatment of the disorder. CTB tends to analyze how the patient might perceive himself as well as the world. The drugs prescribed as per medication include; Librium and Valium (Lader,2015).

Phobias Disorder

According to researchers, persons might suffer from phobias disorder after suffering from a prolonged and unreasonable fear of specific objects, situations, or even activities giving the irrational reality of fear or threat (Barlow,2015). The intense of fear portrayed by the person towards something unlikely happens to another ordinary person who has a different perspective concerning the same issue. The various aspects indicate the distinction between phobias and fear. Therefore, fear a be defined as a coherent reaction towards a branded external disaster or even danger which may cause a person to have self- defense by attacking back the threat or even by escaping. Whereas, Phobias cause significant distress on the person and as well cause interferences according to life adjustment of that person (Barlow,2015).

Phobias disorder may last in a person’s body for a lifetime, as the people tend to escape the stimulus imposing Phobias in their life. Therapist state that, is difficult to extinguish phobias disorders in the life of a person, therefore, can only be cured. Flooding and systematic desensitization are conventional therapies used to cure the ailment. Systematic desensitization is the method used to reduce fear to a person by exposing the patient gradually to the things or objects imposing fear in their life (Bandelow,2015). For example, if a person fears snakes, the therapists advise the person to be approaching the snakes slowly in steps until the fear runs away.

On the other hand, flooding treatments happen by introducing the stimulus immediately to the patient instead of a gradual approach. The method based on the belief that the sympathetic nervous systems of human are unable to maintaining extreme arousal for a long duration of time. Thus, the body begins to adapt, and the Phobias starts to subside from the body (Bandelow,2015).

Panic Disorder

Psychologists decode that the panic disorder results from disturbances of emotion. According to research, panic disorder mostly affects adult with a high percentage of women compared to men; children are less affected (Lader,2015). Panic disorders differ from generalized anxiety disorder and phobias. The difference is well identified by patients who have panic disorders experience unanticipated and unembellished panic attacks lasting for a few minutes or even hours and then fades away.

Further studies suggest that the patient having the panic disorder have a stable state of restrained anxiety, and over-reactive sympathetic nervous system which helps to respond to fear quickly, thus the body adapts to its functionality very quickly. When the patient faces a slight stressor, the body responds with an immediate increase in the rate of heartbeat and blood adrenaline. The panic disorder attacks happen suddenly, therefore, occurring at any time, even if the person is sleeping. Even though, the psychologists have no findings concerning the cause of the panic disorder, the research state that panic disorder emanates from neurochemical abnormality inheritance, resulting from the unexpected surges of physiological arousal and fear. Moreover, it may result from psychological factors including habituation and irritational beliefs of the patient (Bandelow,2015).

Above and beyond, panic disorder originates from stress, physical activities or even stress. When a person discovers that by performing a particular event triggers panic attack tend to avoid the activities altogether and becomes sensitive on what to perform as well as the effect of individual physical activities. For example, the patient tent to suffer from panic disorders caused by smallest exertion causing the increase of heart rate, the patient begins perceiving the effort as a panic attack which results from a persistent fear of experiencing the same offense again. In regard, psychologists, suggests regular exercises to the patient as a method of treatment against panic disorder (Bandelow,2015). Moreover, based on medication, studies suggest the patient use benzodiazepines or psychotherapy and antidepressants as the best and standard medicine which reduce panic attacks for a duration of three to eight months (Bandelow,2015).

To conclude, anxiety merely is normal; however, however, extremely particular, human emotion. Normal stress aids as a benefit to people as well as serves as an adaptive purpose. Nonetheless, it becomes a source of tremendous suffering for people around the globe. Based on biopsychological reasoning, the paper provided an overview of the source of the different types of disorders along with the effects on the human body. Presenting different kinds of anxiety disorders including, phobias, panic attacks, generalized anxiety disorders as well as naming etiological causes of anxiety disorder which included; psychodynamic, biological causes, maladaptive behaviors, and cognitive causes. Treatment of different anxiety disorders base on compact scientific groundwork, grounded in research by psychologists along with other experts from various fields. The comprehensive analysis led to the development of different treatments for several disorders.

Consequently, many people have regained strength, courage, restoration of health and normal body functioning. The future shall remain optimistic for people struggling with anxiety.
