Auto motors
Auto motors as toys were my favorite pass time. I was more interested in dismantling them to see how they move more than playing with them. My interest and curiosity grew along with me. First time when my dad bought a car, I spent time with a mechanic to understand how to set things right when there is a breakdown. I developed an interest in math and science from my school days and scored well in them
I completed my tenth in the year 2010 from Poornima Vidyaneketan high school with 84.3%. My intermediate education was from Sri Chaitanya Junior college with Math and Science and my primary subjects. My childhood passion for machines and auto motors made me choose mechanical engineering as my specialization in my engineering course.
During my four years engineering undergraduate course, I learned Engineering graphics, material technology, manufacturing processes, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, thermal engineering, production technology, CAD (computer-aided design), machine design, etc.
My projects during engineering course were:
MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF STEAM TURBINE BLADE: This project is aimed to describe the manufacturing process of a steam turbine blade (I6 rotor) by using CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. The study includes the flow of manufacturing processes and techniques involved on the shop floor.
DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED A SOLAR CAR: This project is to Design and Manufacturing of an Eco-friendly Solar car. Moreover, we have participated in the event ESVC- 2016 (Electric-Solar Vehicle Championship), which was organized by ISIE (Imperial society of innovative engineers).
DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF TWO PLASTIC GEARS AND ITS COMPARISON WITH METALLIC GEAR: Performance of any gear is dependent on gear material and its properties. Nylon 66 has been selected for replacement of metallic gear which reduces weight, noise, vibration which gives better strength.
I presented a paper in a technical seminar “design and analysis of Helical Gear.”
Apart from the curriculum, I gained hands-on knowledge of CAD/CAM Software’s: AutoCAD, CATIA V5, SOLID WORKS, CREO 2.0, Hands on experience on CMM (FARO Robotic ARM CMM) and working knowledge of Operating Systems: Windows X.P.
