Balanced Nutritious diet.
Balanced diet is a combination of essential nutrients for good and healthy growth.It comprises of; grains, fruits and vegetables, proteins, dairy and the least nutritious which includes fats, oils and sweets. .Failure to include any element in diet leads to risks of diseases ,fatigue and infections .For example lack of proteins in diet courses Anaemia,lack of carbohydrates courses kwashiorkor and failure to have balanced nutrition you get marasmus.This implies that nutrition is very important and needs attention to avoid improper growth and nutrient deficiency diseases.I include grains,vegetables,meat and cake in my daily meals. Is eating grains vegetables,fruits and baked cake important to your body?
Biologically,carbohydrates are also referred to as body building foods. They are mainly used to give energy to body tissues thus enhancing strength.This strength is defined by general body muscles that stretch on hands ,stomach and on the legs. Energy is a basic necessity in human being since it facilitate movement and gives physical support .Grains like maize ,oats ,millets ,barley, wheat and sourghum belongs to carbohydrates family and they play the roles as discussed above.
Secondly,the most liked food in modern world is meat .It’s sweet taste makes it the favourite.As a subject of discussion, proteins are body building foods which includes meat;beef,mutton,fish,pork, they are other types of proteins ;milk,eggs,beans or inshort legumes.Proteins are digested in the stomach and duodenum where pepsin,trypsin and chymotrypsin break then down into polypeptides that are further broken down into amino acids.They enhance in production of blood and build up of lean meat in body lining.However sweet they are,excessive eating of proteins causes kidney disease and hydration and thus must be limited or needs balancing.
Fruits and Vegetables are basically classified depending on which part of the plant they come from .They make the best salad and natural juices with different flavours depending on the fruit or vegitable used. Apples, oranges ,bananas, mangoes, berries and watermelons are a few types of fruits that are easily accessible in many countries. On the other hand, spinach, cabbages, potatoes, onions and lettuce are types of vegetables. They contain minerals and vitamins; vitamin A,C and E, magnesium ,zinc ,folic acid, phosphorous among others .Fruits and vegetables are a good source of fibre which helps to prevent constipation by aiding in digestion. They also help to reduce the risk of high blood pressure and obesity .It is also scientifically proven that fruits and vegetables reduce chances of getting stroke, heart diseases ,cancer and type two diabetes. They can be consumed raw ,eaten as smoothies which is very advisable for people who want to cut weight or steaming to prevent nutrients loss .
Mammals are among the most useful domestic animals. For example dairy products also known as milk products mainly come from mammals. To many farmers these products are easily available because they rare cattle, goats and sheep which produces milk. Dairy product are manufactured into different and very sweet products like yogurt ,cheese and butter. Milk products are rich in many nutrients which includes proteins ,carbohydrates, Minerals and vitamin;B2,A and D. Excessive intake of dairy products in your body can cause diseases; heart diseases, diabetes and high risks of breast, ovarian and prostrate cancers. Positively they are very healthy foods and are rich in calcium and proteins which are very essential in our bodies .
Finally, they are the least nutritious foods in our bodies .They are fats ,oils and sweets. They got vital roles in our bodies. They basically provide energy to the body and keeps it warm .Fats also insulates our bodies and protects organs. Fats and oils are gotten from plants and animals. Animals like fish ;salmon and Mackerel are very rich in oils among other marine sources. Fats on the other side are from plants like nuts ,seeds and plant oils such as corn and sunflowers. High consumption of fats and oils cholesterol in the blood vessels which increases risks of heart diseases and stroke. The other main effect is extra gaining of weight. Many women like to keep curvy and healthy and hence its healthy to consume average amount of fats and oils and term fats as bad because they add weigh at high rates.
Conclusion .
Biologically its clear that too much of any nutrient in the body is poisonous. To start with too much of carbohydrates can cause etra weight gains. When proteins are also taken in large intakes they can cause some unwanted diseases into our bodies .Fats and oils are named as ‘bad’ because they also cause extra weight gains but at higher rates than carbohydrates. Balanced nutritious diet is the only way to keep our bodies healthy and strong for daily activities.
