Effective behavioural strategy

The First effective strategy is by ignoring misbehaviours. Some of the misconducts are not frequent to deserve any reaction by the teacher. By ignoring them, it is likely to extinguish when it left alone. For example, steward Bell and Annie Harks misbehave by talking loudly and misusing tools. When the above behaviour is ignored, it disappears within time. This means that some action does not require to respond even if they frequently.

The Second effective strategy is by talking to them privately about their behaviour. The initial process that explains ways of interaction that are desirable that involves negotiation behaviour solutions. For instances, a student may persist being late for class in spite of efforts by the teacher to rectify the behaviour. In most of this situation, it is better to negotiate a solution with the student involved — this helps the affected student to change and have good moral.

The third effective strategy is by having a contract with the student. It helps to have some target with the student about the behaviour. It involves an agreement with the student if they misbehave more than three times you will send them to the principle since the principle can expel the misbehaving students they likely to change.

Ineffective behavioural strategy.

The first ineffective strategy involves giving the students a failing grade for the day. When a teacher decides to give a failing grade to the misbehaving student will not make any change since the student is not directly affected. The misbehaving student will blame the teacher involved rather than solving the problem.

The second ineffective strategy is making student came to class or after to do the extra assignment. In most of the case, it acts as a punishment, but a lot of misbehaving students adapts to perform additional work every day when they misbehave.

The last ineffective strategy is giving student detention and calling their parent. Since most of the parents are not aware of laws and regulations in schools, most of the parent may not respond positively to the teacher thus may increase the problem rather than solving.
