Bhanu Choudhrie and Michael Nierenberg
Michael Nierenberg is The President, CEO, and Board Chairman of New Residential which is a New York Exchange and operates as a qualified Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). He is considered a unique investment manager based on how he approaches investment and how he views the future of the investment world. New Residential focuses on opportunistic residential real estate investments such as excess mortgage servicing rights(MSRs) and servicer advances.
He has worked with different companies in New York this gaining experience and has made him appreciate teamwork, since it is only in teamwork that companies can capitalize on different changes in the world of money. It also help to work with other people to bring everyones’ talent on board. Teamwork has also helped him in mentoring employees in his managerial post.
He has also been able to value productivity since it helps in saving resources and individuals can grow professionally hence a win-win situation for both employees and the company. He has also been able to master the art of diversity which is key in helping the company get more profit from different sectors. It also minimises losses thus making him the diversification agent in the different companies he has worked.
Bhanu Choudhrie was educated at the Boston University, where he studied International Business and Marketing, and has undertaken the Owner Management Programme at Harvard Business School. Bhanu Choudhrie is the executive director of the family owned, London based, C&C Alpha Group which is responsible for investment strategy. C&C Alpha Group invests principally in the utility, healthcare, hospitality, real estate and aviation sectors. The company operates as a holding company and provides consulting and advisory services to venture capital investors. Bhanu Choudhrie has founded Alpha Aviation Group with it’s headquarters in London with flight schools in Philippines and UAE. He is also a director of the charity, Path To Success, which is known for helping disabled athletes. Bhanu Choudhrie is a board member of Customers Bancorp and is the bank’s executive and risk committee. He was a director of Atlantic Coast Financial Corporation, prior to its acquisition by Ameris in May 2018. Choudhrie was a co-founder of Megalith Capital Management.
