Bias In Medical Research Article Analysis
It has come to concern that most recent medical published research is not correct. Several factors contribute to search claims that the articles are false. An investigation is claimed to be true if a lot of studies are carried out on it. Secondly, in a research article, the level of bias should be very minimal. Also, failing to confirm research is an ill way of concluding research findings. In a relationship, the ratio of actual to no examined in each study may be used to determine whether an investigation is accurate.
Most medical research is flawed because; an investigation is not mostly vetted to be true if a conclusion is drawn from limited studies carried out concerning the examination. The fewer the studies are conducted, the higher the chances of finding to be false. Bias can affect the analysis and report findings. Assumptions may lead to distortion of report findings and lead to wrong research analysis. Confirmation of research is done through a test by several independent parties, and most researchers may fail in it. The likelihood of research finding to be true depends on a prior probability being accurate and, therefore, can affect the research findings.
Based on classwork about experimental research whereby two sets of variables are used while conducting the study, there is a relationship between innovative and medical research articles. In both empirical research and the section, there are a set of constant variables; that is true. In medical research articles, the ratio of true should exceed the ratio of no.
Before reading the article, I could believe that research studies’ findings published in professional journals are of the best quality and very accurate. My positive attitude towards the published articles has changed since most of them may contain inaccurate and misleading information. A person should be very keen when reading and obtaining information from the research studies articles.
It is impossible to know the truth in research, although there are several ways to improve the quality and objectivity of research as recommended by the author. Conduct large studies to get better evidence of the research and the evidence to be targeted on research questions. Secondly, one should obtain information from several teams since the research questions may be addressed by many research teams. Lastly, before conducting research, an investigation should be carried out to determine the probability of the chances of turning true.
In conclusion, I strongly agree with the author of the article concerning the improvements to be done in order to reduce the biases of medical research analysis. A person should be careful about research studies published in professional journals and should never assume they are all of good quality and accurate.
