Biopsychology
Biopsychology is concerned with how our brains and related aspects of biology affect our feelings, personality, and behaviors. Personally, biopsychology influences my relationships and daily activities because I tend to have similar traits and behaviors akin to those of my parents.
To a significant extent, biopsychology influence my relationship and daily activities. Notably, some behaviors are genetically related, and our genetic makeup can sometimes affect how we interact and respond to our surroundings (CrashCourse 1:36-1:57). I tend to have similar relationships with those that of my mother. Additionally, I have the same schedule as hers, which implies that there is a genetic basis for such aspects. However, biopsychology has also influenced the formation of my personality.
Over time, biopsychology may have shaped the formation of my personality because my character is similar to that of my grandfather. My personality may have been influenced by biopsychology because, irrespective of how I try to change, I find myself possessing the same personality. Notably, my mother has a similar personality, which indicates the impact of genes over time. The cultural factors which contributed to the formation of my character include the values of respect and responsibility in our family. Also, social factors such as living in an environment where people mind their own business has contributed to my reserved personality.
In sum, biopsychology influences my relationships, daily activities, and personality because I have similar traits to my mother. Significantly, my schedule and relationships are identical to those of my parents, which implies some form of genetic influence. Also, the cultural and social factors of respect and responsibility are other aspects, which demonstrate how biopsychology may have shaped the formation of my personality.
