Building Resilience into the Organization
Sajko, Boone and Buyl, (2020) argues that C.S.R. is the way an organization manages both the internal and external structure of the company, i.e. social, economic and environmental aspects. This implies that sane leadership (C.E.O.) and the organization resilience can support C.S.R. in a given company. For instance, rational governance in a company is likely to focus on the time cycles in order to tamale the organization economically more robust. Besides the sane leadership in an organization promotes the employees to embrace cognitive3 diversity. This involves the employees focus on the ultimate goal of their company but still be allowed to think differently and have different values about certain concepts (Sajko, Boone and Buyl, 2020). This empowers the staffs and makes them innovative and creative hence coming up with new ideas. A resilient organization would determine how to balance between the environment and general profit-making activities. This implies that a resilient organization is not only supposed to maximize its efficiency since this would make it vulnerable to failures.
Reivich, K. & Shatte (2002) argues that there are several ways in which an individual can apply when building resilience. Some of these ways include having an explicit knowledge about oneself, for instance, knowing your weakness and how different challenges influences your behaviour. Secondly, a person can an individual should live a mistake-free life in order to avoid getting into trouble. When faced with strife condition, an individual should learn to remain calm free from stress in order to overcome these conditions.
