The supervisor addresses the employees seeking promotion in the department as being careless in handling the firm’s finances when she discourses the memo to all promotion seeking department employees. Betty miswords does not explain to the staff members what she wants them to do as a department supervisor. However, the supervisor only accuses the workers inappropriately by addressing them as being careless in their line of duty. She is very commanding by the fact that she uses exclamation marks which symbolizes her high volume or shouting to the clients when she stated that losses in September and October came to more than a total of 40 dollars.
In this memo, Betty Misswords is very authoritative when she commands the employees that the shortages that the firm has been experiencing must stop. Moreover, without the consent or the idea of where the money went or got used, she ends up threatening the employees that their bonuses at the end of the year will have to be reduced. She false fully accuses the employees of mismanaging the funds by buying lunch and enjoying rides a thing she has no idea about.
Betty miswords does not consult the staff workers on how to rectify the problem, but instead, she comes up with her suggestions on what should be done. The supervisor does not provide evidence that supports the decision she is notifying employees about, but instead, she gives her surety that her strategy will be useful when she says that employees cooperation with her new policy will stop the abuse. The supervisor gives stringent conditions without knowing the time the process of acquisition of firms goods will take. She doesn’t care about the welfare of her workers only what she does is that she wants things done as per her ways. Moreover, Betty does not conclude her memo with a helpful summary that reiterates why she thinks that her policy is for the best.
