Caption Editor
Welcome to dash rRevs capturing tool. When you first claim the caption job from the find work page, you will be directed to dash automatically with the video pre-loaded. Let’s begin by showing you around. Here’s the video. You can click and drag to expand or shrink the video size to fit your needs. To play the video, you can use hotkeys tab will play and pause. The video Shift-Tab will skip back a few seconds so you can listen again.
Currently, we’re on the typing step. Here you can create and edit captions for your video.
There are a few ways to create a new caption. You can use the Enter key, or click the plus button with your mouse.
To merge captions, you can use backspace
or click the merge button with your mouse as well.
When you’re done typing, you can move to the synching step.
Hereby using the up arrow key, you can sync your captions to the video to sync. Hit the up arrow key when you hear the text in the caption group begin. You can adjust the timing by gret by dragging the caption group with your mouse or nudging it with the side arrow keys. You can also undo this action by using Ctrl Z to unsink. When all the captions have been synced, you can Submit your work and claim another job.
