Such solid particles include dust, mould, fibres, germs, pollens and many more. The air filter can use both chemical and physical processes to clean air to the required breathable level. Similarities and Differences between Fayol’s and Weber’s Theories of Management Max Weber (1841-1925) and Henri Fayol (1864-1920) were born when industrialization was transforming government, business, and society. Whereas Fayol focused more on top managers who develop strategy, Weber’s work edged more towards middle managers who implement set strategy (BCcampus, 2020). Consequently, their views on management were bound to differ due to their different perspectives. Despite their differences, both men had similar ideas of the administrative management theories, like the need for rational and logical systems to control various types of enterprises. Both Max Weber and Henri Fayol’s contributions to administration borrowed heavily from Fredrick Taylor’s scientific theory. Weber created a formal system of organization and administration known as the principles of bureaucracy (BCcampus, 2020). Similarly, Henri Fayol designed Fayol’s management system, which like Weber’s, but based on fourteen principles. Both men’s principles stress the importance of authority in an enterprise and the need to hold employees accountable for their actions (Jones, G. R., & George, J. M. 2009). Max Weber’s fourth principle, which states that employees should have a clear…

Whether psychotherapy has a biological basis According to the American Psychiatric Association (2016), psychotherapy is defined as the interaction between a healthcare professional and a patient to comprehensively explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to attain higher functioning levels or solve problems. Psychotherapy aids in solving difficulties such as the effect of trauma, loss of loved ones, challenges in coping with activities of daily living, and mental disorders such as anxiety or depression (APA, 2016). Psychotherapy is indeed a biological treatment. According to Mancke et al. (2018), psychotherapy is comparable to learning a new task. In addition to that, teaching an individual’s brain to think or perceive things differently triggers certain portions of the brain to respond. In research conducted on women with borderline personality disorders, PET and MRI scans of the brain showed that after undergoing 12 weeks of dialectical behavioral therapy, they experienced an increase in grey matter volume compared to individuals who participated in usual treatments. Furthermore, Schubert et al. (2019), clients presenting with post-traumatic stress disorder experienced an enhanced dysfunctional cognitive coping strategies, and improved blood…
Limited information is available on the serum minerals in response to dietary probiotic administration. Statically, no effect of treatment was observed on serum minerals viz., calcium, and phosphorus in Asian elephants. The mean serum calcium and phosphorus values observed for different groups were slightly lower than the normal reference ranges of Asian elephants (Brown and White, 1980 and Niemuller et al., 1990). However, phosphorus values were in corroboration with Gromadzka-Ostrowska et al. (1988) as well as Ca: P ratio was found to be well within the normal reference range (Niemuller et al., 1990). The results of this study were in accordance with earlier findings of Jatkauskas and Vrotniakienė (2007) in cows for phosphorus and Kunavue and Lien (2012) in pigs, Hashemzadeh et al. (2013) in broiler chicks and Soleymanzadeh et al. (2017) in rats for calcium. On the contrary, significant differences were noticed in serum minerals by Shah et al. (2017) in rabbits and El-Sayed and Mousa (2019) in lambs. Thus, it can be concluded from the observations of the present study that probiotics L. acidophilus and S. cerevisiae can…
