But what is a Neural Network? | Deep learning, chapter 1 From the video, I have learned: Neural network inspired by the brain as the name suggests. It is the purest form of learning in which it recognizes the handwritten digits which are done by a computer system that uses a network of functions that understand and translate into another form. It involves learning and some mathematical formulas to get the desired output. The neural network is used in many real-life problems, including speech recognition, image recognition etc. This video covers the process of image recognition. Algorithm: The example shown in the video has: A bunch of neurons which holds a matrix of 28*28 pixels as input image which has 784 neurons. Each neuron holds a value of grayscale of the corresponding pixel. Range of the value is between 0 – 1. 0 means pixel is black, one means pixel is white. There is a three layer system in a structured layer form. Each layer consists of neurons. The first layer has 789, the second and third layer has…
The Open Field doctrine warrants the operations of Officer Williams and Officer Martinez’. The doctrine must, however, operate in line with the Fourth amendment. Persons are protected from “unreasonable searches and seizures” by the Fourth Amendment. As a result, individuals are therefore provided with a right to experience the feeling of security and protection of their privacy in person, while at their homes, in papers and also effects. Since Officer Williams and Officer Martinez’s are representatives of the legal institutions, the Open Field doctrine permits them to utilize materials and items in the outward environs of a suspected alleged criminal’s property. On the other hand, numerous defendants up to date are in disagreement with the whole part of the Open Field doctrine. For instance, in the case of Hester vs. the United States, the court ruled that the Fourth Amendment could not influence the application of the open field doctrine (Hester & Baker, 1997). The fourth amendment only protects persons, houses, papers, and effects, and usually, it does not exceed its influence on the open lots. The police are obliged…
Solving a Business Problem Defining the Problem Management techniques are the analytical and systematic approaches that are applied by companies to enhance decision-making and attain efficiency in planning and control. The major issues which affect the organization are the lack of clear directions, poor directions, inabilities to manage diverse teams, and failure to develop critical behaviors and competencies. The issue affects the organization in the following ways; How the Issue Affect the Organization Low motivation among the employees Poor management issues affect the morale of employees, and thus, they are less likely to attain the targets. Lack of clear communication and failure to develop critical competencies may lead to feelings of inequitable treatment and elicit issues of favoritism. The issue affects the organizational culture and result in high employee turnover rates. Low Employee Productivity and Low Profits Poor management may affect employees’ performance if the leadership does not align their objectives with those of the workers. Lack of regular appraisals and workplace conflicts are common and result in low productivity in companies. The issue often results in a lack of…
Introduction Purchasing and Supply are key elements of an organization. They include managing delivery, such as project services, services, and material budgets, from unlimited access. They emphasize the basic functionality of delivery, as well as how a company acquires and distributes the goods and services needed to manufacture a product or service for a customer. They are used flexibly to include similar functions that provide the best performance and corporate services and services in the party. Buyers and sellers in purchase and supply management play an essential role in negotiating the best deals. In this case, the therapist must know how to buy, how it can be used, and what influences can affect delivery, cost, and quality. Purchasing managers can always receive raw materials, delivery, and services. Supply chain management includes negotiating key contracts to support the production of goods and services in the business. Negotiating a deal with a seller does not mean that buyers are getting what they want at the lowest possible price. Managers see a contract better than one that meets all their needs. Before a…
Three ways bullying can negatively impact children Introduction Bullying refers to the act of intimating someone. Bullying is prevalent in schools among children. Children can be bullied because of their social status, race, or ethnic group. People can also be bullied because of their physical appearances, such as their weight or height. Bullying is unacceptable behavior in schools because it affects children physically, psychologically, and emotionally. Physical effects Bullying affects the physical wellness of children. Children who are bullied may develop injuries. Bullying involves physical activities, such as fights. When the bullied child is beaten, he can have bruises or can start bleeding because of injuries. Bullying also affects the health condition of an individual. When children are bullied, they get aches and pains, which increases their susceptibility to diseases. They can develop headaches, chest pains, and other physical pains. They can also develop chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases because of stress. Besides, bullying can cause malnutrition because of the lack of enough food. Therefore, bullying has negative impacts that affect the physical well-being of an individual. Psychological impacts…

Quite a number of researchers have studied the relationship between macroeconomic factors and tax revenue, with a majority concluding the existence of an interdependence (Tanzi, 1989) (Ghura, 1998) (Gober & Burns J, 1997). Global Studies. Over the past decade, several empirical studies have found a link between macroeconomic variables and tax revenue. G.D.P. growth for one has been shown to have a positive impact on tax revenues. Iriqat and Anabtwar (2016) established that growth in G.D.P. led to an increase in tax revenues in Palestine. Their paper investigated the causality relationship between tax revenue and gross domestic product in developing nations and used Palestine as a case study. The study covered 1999-2014 and divided the years into a time series of three stages. The econometric model of choice for Iriqat and Anabtwar was Ordinary Least Squares regression. Their central hypothesis was that there is no interdependence between tax revenues, and G.D.P. and its components, which they proved wrong for the first two-time stages that are 1999-2001 and 2006-2007. Their last time stage however showed no significant link between the two…
TASK ASSIGNMENT Question 1: “Research on various forms of Antennas” There are various forms of antennas accessible in wireless communication domain. For example, Yagi, Cellular antenna, Horn antenna etc. A research is conducted on these innovations in antennas particularly in terms of usage, benefits and disadvantages or limitations of these antennas. These different forms of antennas are categorized in different types like Omni-directional, semi-directional and directional antennas. Yagi and Horn Antennas are the examples of directional antennas. These antennas possess passive gain that is employed to increase the indication measured in decibels (Akkarajitsakul, Hossain, Niyato, & Kim, 2011). We explored these forms of antennas and will describe them one by one as follows: Yagi Antenna Yagi antennas share a dipole as the leading or “driven” constituent. Yagi antennas are commonly used in ham radio, TV reception, and as a connection antenna to link a location with a Wi-Fi admittance point. The benefits include that Yagis are sort of “directional antennas”. The Yagi antenna’s scheme or design help to sieve out nearly each signal noise approaching from the reverse direction. However,…
RE: RESPONDING TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS ON CHILD CARE AND EDUCATION Following the outbreak and spread of the coronavirus, education in the US has been paralyzed and significantly affected by this pandemic. My main concern is that since the explosion, the children have not been going to school. The children must be protected from this deadly virus and provide quality education to them even if the virus is still spreading across the country. The spread of coronavirus not only affected the education sector but also affected the country’s overall production, resulting in a decrease in the real GDP. There should be a policy that provides a platform to understand better what is needed by the families and childcare providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This will include not only health issues but also matters to do with the education of the children. The Covid-19 is a national issue as it spread over the whole country and even across the globe. The life of Americans has been dramatically affected and reordered due to the spread of this virus. The new cases…
A habit is a behavior that a person is used to doing. Habits vary from small behaviors like nail-biting, to harmful habits like smoking. Bad habits result from boredom and stress (Zedelius et al., 2018). There are numerous ways in which a person can approach to kick a bad habit. A person can identify the behaviors that they think are not good for them. They must know exactly the habits that they would like to change so that they know what to work on specifically. Additionally, they need to identify what triggers their bad habits. Thus, they will be able to avoid situations or places that trigger them. Changing a habitual thing is difficult. Hence, it requires a lot of effort and time to overcome it. Another way that a person can use to break a bad habit is by punishing themselves. Every time an individual engages in the behavior they want to change, they should hold themselves accountable. For example, an individual can get a jar and put money in it whenever they engage in a bad habit. Making…
