There is much debate regarding the legalization of euthanasia – the deliberate process of terminating a person’s life for reasons related to compassion. Since the advent of this controversial issue, both proponents and opponents have put forth several compelling reasons for and against euthanasia. Those supporting euthanasia contend that society needs to allow people to die in dignity and painlessly, and should allow others – physicians in this case – to help them do so if they cannot accomplish it alone. On the contrary, those opposing the legalization of this practice assert that life is God-given, and no one has the right to decide when to terminate is; opponents also highlight several legal and ethical implications of legalizing euthanasia. By carefully examining both arguments, it is evident that opponents’ arguments not only outweigh proponents’ claims but also seem more compelling. Thus, the administration should not legalize euthanasia, drawing from religious, legal, and ethical implications. Support The case against euthanasia and PAS takes different perspectives. From a religious – exemplified by the Catholic Church – perspective, anyone professing to a particular…

Inside Job Inside Job documentary can be described as the in-depth exploration of the infamous financial crisis of the 2000s. Directed by Charles Ferguson, the film paints a clear picture of the systemic corruption perpetuated by the financial industry in the United States. It shows how corruption can undermine and crumble the national economy. For instance, the film depicts how drastic changes in the banking practices and policy environment played a significant role in causing the financial crisis. The film illustrates how economic deregulation was gaining momentum during the 1970s. Numerous studies by the Chicago school of economies and the theories of Alfred Kahn and Stigler George played a crucial role in deregulation. Both conservatives and liberals embraced deregulation ideas. The American Enterprise Institute and Brookings Institution – think tanks based in Washington – were active in publishing studies and holding seminars, which advocated for deregulation. Kahn Alfred (Cornell economist) played a significant role in both participating in and theorizing for the economic deregulation. Inquiry-based learning This is a learning-teaching approach that actively involves the learner in the process. It involves the use of prompts, questions, or scenarios that spark the learners’ thinking and responses in the process of learning. It is a teaching-learning methodology that contrasts the traditional lecture method, where the teacher dominates. In this case, the learner dominates in the process. This helps the learner discover facts, skills, and knowledge by themselves with the guidance of the facilitator/teacher. Inquiry-based learning classroom is tailored deliberately to help learners explore the content of the subject by themselves with just guidance from the teacher or tutor. The teacher makes inquiries or presents scenarios and problems to be solved by the learners. The classroom, for this reason, is well equipped with learning resources and research materials from which they unearth new facts and knowledge by themselves. The materials and resources may include books, bibliographies, the internet, computers, among others. The classroom is also designed in a way that learners can conveniently work in groups and present their findings. An inquiry-based lesson is majorly founded on…
