Graphics make up an essential part in technical writing, making the work easily memorable and more appealing. Graphics are considered if the following characteristics are met; orderly and straightforward, unambiguous labeling, purpose-specific, present information that can be managed as per user needs, located appropriately, honest and meet the expectations set by the reader. This chapter entails a detailed discussion on production, citation, revision and planning of graphics to be used by a writer. Effective use of color in graphics follows the following principles, putting to practice what various colors symbolize, placing emphasis on points and pattern creation using color, effective use of contrast and ensuring that use of color is not overdone. The information illustrated by the use of color includes; spatial and visual characteristics, logical relationships, description of processes and instructions and numerical values. It is quite helpful to know about graphics for effective presentation and ensuring that it has a visual understanding of the point addressed. Academically, knowledge in graphic creation helps to create emphasis on the points that the professor should look at, by using graphics to make the points look unique compared to other words in a document. In life, one can apply graphic creation to become self-employed by being a graphic designer, earning a living from it. It is, therefore, a necessary and quite important skill.
