Citrus Garden
The intervention focuses on assisting the Citrus Garden society in realizing quality education for their children. The community has several stakeholders and has to work in tandem to leap the benefit of quality education, sufficient housing, and job skills among the adults. For quality education to be witnessed, collaboration remains critical where different people and institutions understand their roles. For training to be seen, other factors play a considerable role in housing and learning job skills. These two factors guarantee people’s sustainability and ability to provide to children. Education continuously improves when children are guaranteed critical issues that affect their livelihoods. This led to the formation of a community that could provide some of the vital needs for the Citrus Garden people. The community comprised teachers, social workers, and community members to ensure all critical needs were taken care of without compromising the Citrus Garden culture. The social worker was meant to ensure they outlined some of the essential issues that society would need to collaborate with the community set to intervene with Citrus Garden members. The level of resistance was heavily reduced through the use of community members and the social worker to craft some of the vital strategies to be used to communicate the group’s ideas and intentions. The goals of our group remained to improve some of the issues affecting the Citrus Garden, particularly children education, sufficient housing, and equipping them with job skills. The teachers were to assist in improving the education system, while social workers were to define the best skills that favored certain groups of adults.
Some of the interventions the group will uphold in assisting Citrus Garden community in revolving around crafting programs where teachers can teach the students in an attempt to improve the education level. For quality education in the community, the teachers need to have a program that fits all the students, depending on their levels of education. Some of the policies the group focuses on upholding include having an adequate number of teachers to enable cater to the students in the community. A school project is critical, but in the meantime, the group will utilize the existing one. With an adequate number of teachers, it is possible for the group together with the community to have makeshift classrooms using tents.
For social workers, it is important to acknowledge people in a society such as Citrus Garden needs expert interventions for their problems to be addressed appropriately. By understanding people’s situations, appropriate decisions can be made about the job skills that can be taught to improve their situation. Through the interaction with social workers, it becomes clear how housing menace can be solved by providing more to community members. A clear strategy remains critical on how the housing will be provided to people of the community to enhance a positive impact that the group wants to create. The community members are expected to play a critical role in the realization of the goals and objectives the group has set in an attempt to influence the Citrus Garden community positively. The level of resistance and rigidity arises when people fail to resonate or cooperate with intruders. However, it becomes easy to assemble and talk to people about the goals of the group with community members.
The group needs an introduction in this community by community members working with the group to facilitate the realization of their set goals. For job skills, the group will intervene by providing different options the members can choose from, ranging from tailoring, carpentry, mason, drivers to welders. They can choose one of the various projects provided by the group to equip themselves with skills that can assist in sustaining their family. The skills increase the chance of a person to find a job or start their own local or out of the region.
The context of the group includes comprising professionals in different areas of interest at Citrus Garden. The teachers, social workers, and community members can analyze factors such as culture and existing law that govern a group that intends to offer aid services to the community. The members of the group also understand their role in enabling the company to realize the set goals.
