Climate
Question 1
Climate is the weather condition induced in a given region or a place for a very long time. Climate migration is also known as “climate refugees” is a group of environmental migrants who were forced to flee from their natural habitat due to natural gradual changes occurring in the natural environment as a result of climate change such as drought, the sudden increase in sea-level and extreme weather events in these regions. Dealing with long term gradual climate changes that result from unfavorable human-environmental practices such as careless deforestation due to overpopulation.
Adapting to such induced climate changes is something that is considered to be inevitable in this generation or the next to survive for the decades to come. This unexpected gradual climate change such as a sudden global temperature rise caused by global emission of greenhouse gases has forced several countries to make some little efforts on monitoring and reducing such practices by putting some regulation to their domestic industries on how to handle these fumes. Since Forest has been considered to of some help in this fight some countries have put in place vast reserve lands and funds just for afforestation. Globally several countries are encouraged to use and rely on green energy that is environment friendly and is considered to more efficient since they are also renewable.
With all these efforts it is arguable that humanity is not well prepared to handle these long term challenges of climatic migration since all the programs, projects, laws, and rules regarding environmental conservation either globally or national level can not comfortably manage this crisis. With these efforts to decrease the global emission of greenhouse gases that has failed to keep the mean global temperature increase below 3.5 degrees centigrade that has severe impacts on climates which may likely be of a globally catastrophic magnitude and at some point may be beyond human adaptation in many countries and communities.
Question 2
Climate migration is a process that takes some duration for it to be noted nationally or globally but such be considered a threat to humanity. Globally every state has a different opinion regarding climate migration since to some countries it is not their first priority. Currently, every country toils towards being more developed, equipped, and use of lethal weapons such as nuclear bombs and the use of non-environmental friendly energy sources that do not encourage environmental conservation practices. These poor decision-making processes entailed both at the global and national levels regarding practices on climate change in the present day shows that several states do not consider climate migration a serious challenge in the future.
Question 3
In order for this challenge of climate migration to be considered a threat to humanity in the future, international clashes such as Americans and Asians over technology, Europeans and Americans over the matter that they can solve by finding a common settlement on their disputes. With these disputes aside to achieve a unified fight against can easily be considered to save the world. States should develop a new paradigm of learning as well as decision-making on how to identify and adapt to these climate changes will help and speed the process. This will help to considered climate migration a priority since its effects can be identified hence making it priority under there norms and interests.
Question 4
To manage these challenges of “climate refugees” that has slowly affected our natural habitats need to adhere to some new policies to help control such crisis. Currently, almost all countries are work on several ways to earn world respect either through the development of new technology as well as lethal war weapons. Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear weapons should be made global this will in use of nuclear weapons on other countries. Nuclear arms control agreements to prevent unnecessary test and use of these arms on the environments since nuclear poses and causes the greatest destruction on the environment which yield to climate migration.
States should have a common and unified ideology as well as a political autonomy to prevent acts of terrorism both local and international. Individual states should encourage practices like effective family planning, better health care, and mass media education to control the rapidly growing population of the world. Global states should also find a common ground to settle their power rivalry to have a unified common ground. Countries should also elect leaders who can provide adequate governance and prevent other internal factors to cube poverty in these states.
Question 5
The identity of the state entails the views, objectives (interests), characteristics of the peoples as well as practices of that given state. These objectives or interests help identify a given state. To achieve this issue of cubing climate migration. The state needs to assume the identity of constructivism that allows the distribution of ideas and association norms hence can achieve a ruled governed action entailed with social norms and appropriate behaviors that are précised.
Question 6
Norms refer to the fundamental hypothesis in social science that can be commonly defined as expectations that should be socially enforced to achieve a positive behavior. For a state to internalize, social norms are portrayed since bit constitutes a class to be in a given social context, gives an understanding to the actor’s interest, also ensures the honoring to an extent that this interest is internalized to their identity.
Question 7
Social relation between state is a powerful tool mostly when a common crisis is threatening those two. If those two states can come into a united consent to fight a challenge through the exchange of ideas as well as developing a common social norm and appropriate behaviors in order to abide by this norm. If two countries with a different opinion can trade as a united block to achieve their interests since in most cases during trading borders are considered to be virtual agreements between humans residing in those regions. For trade to occur ideas must be exchanged with terms that must be obeyed, goods subjected, and value currency to be used.
This is possible since it was through the exchange of ideas that led to the changing of slavery to antislavery, discrimination to non-discrimination of women, and abolishment of racial discrimination. Constructivist perspectives where the distribution of ideas and association norms on “climate refugee” are the first priority thus this challenge can be solved uniformly across the globe over a long period of time.
To cube “climate refugees” through realism is not possible because realism is mainly based on the security and material power of a country. Currently, individual countries are on their own terms since some states consider themselves to be superior in terms of economy, security, infrastructure, and different norms. This result from war gears such as nuclear weapons that are highly destructive used nuclear power systems and availability of oil wells which makes them earn much respect over poor countries with no such resources. Greed and unwilling to share these ideas, modern technology, and agreement on the use of green energy between countries this issue of climate migration cannot be contained until it destroys humanity.
Question 8
If this challenge of climate migration recognized through realism, then it will be solved with different ideas with all to solve one problem. This revolution will be achieved faster since it will be a race to show the world which state is superior over her power rivalries. This challenge will face lack of theory agencies to help create and change normative structures to push it globally since states are not always unitary in case of realism ideologies since some may not consider it as a piece of interest information even though no good outcome in a case of stable interest
Consequences?
This will reduce the use of nuclear weapons as well as nuclear proliferation since this the most destructive threat to the climate. If this occurs, it will subject the world to a new revolution with countries that had nuclear as their source of superiority does not have that fame any more hence not needed. Great power rivalries will be forced to find other means to continue with their rival such as the invention of new weapons in order to keep on being superior. All counties globally will be forced to subject their citizens to birth controls measure in order to control population growth.
This will promote and encourage discrimination to poorer countries that cannot acquire this new environmentally-friendly equipment’s hence encouraging poverty. Cause and change national and global moral views on the environment to prevent climate migration since norms will be changed to a common one.
