Speech presentation is used to make the people want or choose to do a thing. Speech preparation assists one in having a successful presentation and also reduce fear and lack of confidence. When presenting a speech, it is necessary to choose an interesting topic considering your audience. You also need to give the right address considering why your audience is gathering to hear it.
When researching, make sure you are aware of your audience, the questions they may ask, and the topic you are having. Your initial message should lead to the topic because it is where you will be concentrating on. Your work must be strategic and well planned. The purpose of the speech also matters in planning.
After the process of conducting research, it is clear that your audience should determine the message. One must also have a free mind to think about different thoughts and ideas to have enough materials for the speech. One should also be bold and be clear too.
Taking notes and understanding them is one way to grow the ability to prepare and present a successful public speech. Working many times on a speech by organizing the notes earlier and revising them helped one to be perfect during the presentation. Taking care of the first impression on the audience is crucial because it gives them confidence in you.
In education regarding research, it is good to note that one must do everything possible to make themselves feel relaxed and feel comfortable. One should also smile a bit to the audience to instill confidence and friendliness. ( Isti’anah 2018). With an outline, it is simpler to give out the speech. Being clear about the topic and sounding persuasive help make the audience agree with the information being put across.
After giving the article, it felt much better, not because of nervousness but because of needing some rest after standing for over one hour. I felt ready for another interview as soon as I finished it because it gave me the confidence I needed. At first, I was uncomfortable, but as soon as I started, I got more confident.
In conclusion, knowing the audience is crucial, as well as preparing an outline. It helps one to simplify the whole process from research to presentation. When conducting public speech, the first appearance defines someone. One must be smiley when introducing it to smoothen the entire process.
