Type of Service or Program #2 Behavioral Health
- Summary of the services provided or how the program works.
Behavioural Health is a program designed to help individuals with mental issues and drug addiction issues. This program encompasses inter-professionals who are dedicated to offering holistic care to individuals struggling with physical and mental issues. Its primary goal is to enhance the wellbeing of individuals in society.

The target populations, in this case, are the children, adolescents, and adults. Among these populations, the program offers both in-patient and outpatient services (. Clarke et al., 2016). The program does not limit the number of persons it serves at a given time, and it serves people who need its services most.
- Explain the positive outcomes of the program.
The positive outcomes linked to this program is the reduction of the number of persons suffering from mental illnesses as well as those struggling with chemical addictions (Gulliver et al., 2019). This is important in reducing the health burden placed on the government.
- Explain the challenges for implementation.
The challenges encountered in the implementation of this program is the lack of enough professionals to provide the health services in some areas. Also, the scarcity of funds in some states hinders the effective implementation of the program.
