Company’s policies towards employees
In addition to the compensation provided above the job has additional perks not detailed above. For instance, the administrative secretary is entitled to a full month of paid leave each year. The leaves are compulsory. The company also may require one to accrue overtime for a maximum of four hours a day. The compensation for overtime is $25 per hour with a maximum payment of $100 (equivalent to four hours of overtime) a day.
The company will also offer a 10% pay increase to the outstanding employee every two years based on the performance reviews conducted by the Human resources departments. The pay rise will only be reflected in the Basic pay and will not impact the benefits up to when the employee achieves five years of work with the company. After five years of exemplary service, the benefits will be reviewed upwards by 10% alongside the basic pay.
The company is also reviewing a new initiative where it will provide a health insurance cover for all minors belonging to the administrative secretaries. Their insurance cover will mirror that of their parents with full perks, including dental care.
There are measures set in place to compensate workers who get injured during discharging company duties. The rates are subject to review by management after a proper investigation of the incident is completed by both the insurance company and Boseman constructions.
New mothers are given three months of maternity leave with the first two months being fully paid while the third month, the employee receives 75% of her pay. Paternity leaves are also recognized and capped at two weeks of partial pay (50%).
