CONDUCTING SOCIAL MEDIA SURVEYS DURING RECRUITMENT 2
To: anthonydrums@theo.com
Hello Anthony. Following the application that you had written seeking a position in our company, I wanted to inform you that several aspects are taken into account before a candidate qualifies for the job. One of those aspects is the individual’s social media account which the company views the profile of the applicants, and there are codes of conduct that the company believes should be observed.
Please ensure that the personal information that you provide on the social media account portrays a positive image about yourself. Ensure that you avoid updating your social media posts during the working hours in your current job as this might disqualify you since in our company since working hours employees are not allowed to engage in social media activities. Any posts that disclose confidential information on your account should be deleted since confidentiality in our company should be upheld. Any unethical posts like posting nude images in your account might discredit you, and you may end up spoiling the company’s image. This is because you are part of the company and the world will look at the picture you portray and associate it with our company (Broughton, Foley, Ledermaier, & Cox, 2013). Kindly check your social media account and delete the posts that violate the company codes of conduct before the human resource conduct a social media survey.
Thank you.
