Part 2a: Internet Research
Based on the Informal Report Email
- indicate the opportunity from the SWOC analysis of your survey on which you are conducting further research to provide value for the client:

Research Log Instructions:
Select an Internet Search Engine of your choice (e.g. Google, Bing) and conduct a search using natural language based on the opportunity you have selected from your SWOC analysis:
- Record the Search Terms you use for each search
- Identify any words similar to your search terms returned by your Internet search to expand your search
- Number of Relevant Sites: Indicate the number of relevant sites in the first 10 results
- Relevant Sites: Copy the name of the webpage and website addresses of all relevant sites indicated.

Once you have completed your search, identify the two (2) best Internet sources that are relevant to the opportunity you have identified:
- Indicate the Internet Search engine you used
- Indicate the Search Terms that retrieved the webpage.
- Record the Reference for the webpage using APA@Conestoga.
- Paraphrase the key points from the webpage to show how it is related to your opportunity.
- Provide a proper citation for your paraphrase using APA@Conestoga citations
- Rate the Credibility of the author or website that you found
- Explain the reasons you chose the credibility for the source.

Note: An APA@Conestoga citation requires the 3 things: (Author[s] last name, Year of Publication, page number) · No author: use part of title · No date: use n.d. · No page: count paragraphs and indicate paragraph number | On verifying if the college studies increase confidence to handle challenging tasks and increase self-evaluation ability. · Every institution works to boost the self-confidence of its students · Self confidence is always at the center of the achievement obtained. · To determine the achievement, there must be self-evaluation followed by other assessments. · Confidence is a discernment of capabilities and achievement of objectives and goals. · Improved confidence in college students leads to monitoring oneself, evaluation and reactions as a result. · Confidence gives individuals the oomph and demeanor to undertake challenging tasks · Confidence instilled results to self-efficacy which is the belief that people gain to achieve specific tasks. · It has direct relationship with goals motivation and the rate which self-evaluation is likely to be done · Self-evaluation leads to reaction and finally adjusting the personal standards to suit the task required (Druckman et al., 1994, p.203).

Part 2c: Keyword Search Strategy Chart
Identify the keywords for your article database search and complete the Keyword Search Strategy Chart after
- reviewing the videos in the Preparing for Your Search page
- completing your Internet Search
For each Keyword you have identified
- Enter the Main Keywords into the first column
- Enter any Similar Words for each Main Keywords that might be useful in your search
- From the from the Main Keywords or Similar Words that are in this cluster, identify any Exact Phrases are commonly used phrases which should be searched together (by using quotation marks) to get meaningful results.
- Enter Keyword Search Statements that could be used in your search using Keywords, Similar Words and Exact Phrases with Operators (AND / OR) between them to define the relationship between the words in your search
- AND is used between different Main Keywords
- OR is used between Main Keywords and Similar Words
