Countermeasures in enabling resilience, durability, and viability of infrastructure
Risk management is the prioritization, evaluation, identification of risk through the economical application of resources and coordination to control, monitor and maximize the realization of the opportunities or to minimize the impact or probability of unfortunate events. As such, various sources of risks include the threat from disaster, natural causes, accidents, credit risk, legal liabilities, project failure, and uncertainty from a financial market. These risks deliberately attack from the event of unpredictable or uncertain rook-cause or an adversary.
Various countermeasures are very critical in enabling resilience, durability, and viability of infrastructures. First, national and international standards on foundations should be strictly followed to ensure that residence framework is not compromised, anyhow. Second, the determination of up-front financial cost tends to play a significant role in improving the quality of training, installation, equipment, and material. Additionally, other protective measures play a vital role in enhancing there are viability and durability of infrastructure, which include repair and maintenance. Therefore, the fundamental aim of this paper is to discuss on countermeasure method for improving infrastructures.
Further, the other meaningful countermeasure for ensuring that durability of the infrastructure of prioritized is through the promotion of risk sharing. This is a case of engaging in an international department to reduce the burden of loss. For instance, the African Climate Policy Centre and UN economic commission should stand on the gap to reduce the burden of infrastructure loss through issuing of financial assistance to affected countries in African. Also, this procedure will be more applicable in funding for the infrastructure as a way of enhancing infrastructures maintenance. To the developing country, it is recommendable to seek for financial support to fund in recovering of the poor infrastructure in the country.
In conclusion, the most appropriate procedure for ensuring that durability, resilience, and viability of infrastructure are promoted is through engaging in risk managing process. These managing processes include the seeking for financial assistance, repairing and maintaining infrastructure, and international department for risk intervention. Therefore, this paper stands to inform and educate on how to manage infrastructure risks.
