The emergent of covid 19 was unexpected and had a significant influence on my daily life’s thinking and behavior. It wasn’t comfortable accepting, but with the continuous increase in the number of infected people and deaths, there wasn’t any more doubt. I felt like the world was coming to an end. In the beginning, even touching things was scary; I was scared of going to the supermarket, getting into a car, and also meeting people. If a family member even had as much as sneezed, I would feel like they have contracted the virus. I decided to avoid going out unless necessary. I would be the first to remind others to wash their hands, and I was so eager to follow all guidelines directed by the world health organization.
Coming up with a concrete solution to keeping our family safe during this crisis, we ought to use parallel thinking. Data collection is essential as having all the facts makes it easier to make an objective decision; all the data about covid are available on the internet and from daily government updates. Staying at home and making sure we have enough supplies to avoid going out is enough caution to limit socializing. Focusing on each one’s gut feeling will be able to help us prevent it. The benefits brought about by this crisis is that we get enough time to spend together as a family and catch up with each other. Economically, coming up with ways of surviving, such as working at home and online business, would benefit our family.
