An organization has to operate as a complete whole to effectively meet its set goals. For an organization operating to run smoothly and efficiently, proper leadership is required to lead and coordinate all the organizational resources. The organization’s human resource control is the most hectic challenge for many organizations due to different personalities depicted by the employees. Teamwork approach enables an organization to reach its objectives as a single whole since each member of an organization works towards the achievement of the set goals (Katzenbach, & Smith, 2015).
As a manager, therefore, one needs to incorporate all the organization’s department to work together. The production department is concerned with developing products which fit the customer’s needs and want. Coordinating between the finance department and production department to ensure that despite the product matching the required specifications the project is feasible and affordable. The marketing of the produced product, for instance, ought to be undertaken. As the leader its necessary to ensure that the marketing initiatives are undertaken in line with the strategic goals of the organization.
Facts about the field must guide decision made about production under consideration. For this reason, therefore, the engineer in the team should guide on the most cost-effective approach to undertake the production. Through this delegation of duties, the member is not only a team member but also a decision maker. The member representing the supply department ought to be incorporated by the management to identify the best raw material supplier. They will guide on the basic on the purchasing policies of the organization (Katzenbach, & Smith, 2015).
. The supply management personnel has the knowledge and the skills which can be utilized by the manager in monitoring the inventory levels within the organization.
