However, the treatment method is based on a person’s level of obesity, the willingness to engage in a weight-loss program, and the overall health. Information on food nutritional value and weight adding foods such as fatty foods are essential for overweight persons. Most of the ready-made, refined, and processed foods contain high calories, and reduced intake can help cure obesity. An individual should consume high-fiber foods such as vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Physical activities play a significant role in managing obesity as it allows the body to burn excess calories. Treatment through managing hormonal imbalance entails an injection that mimics the effect of gastric gland. Hence, there is a reduced amount of food stored in the stomach, controls digestion, and further controls the hunger cravings from the brain. As the number of children and adolescents suffering from over-weight increases, it is crucial as a society to prevent the prevalence of this chronic disease. The time children spend watching television should be reduced to ensure they exercise. Parents should avoid stocking fatty foods in the fridge and become their children’s role models by eating healthy and involving them in physical exercises.
