I am a senior nurse officer with the required knowledge practice and skills necessary in the management of different patient’s medical conditions. I have been in the field of nursing practice for over 4years now in various health facilities. I have specialized skills in responding to all emergency cases through my basic life support training and advanced cardiac life support. I handle all my patients’ information with confidentiality. I work towards meeting my patient’s needs to their satisfaction by ensuring that preventive, curative, promotive, and rehabilitation needs are met. I am currently working at the medical-surgical unit at Nakuru county referral hospital as a senior nursing officer. I have previously worked in ICU, a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and High Dependence Unit (HDU) at Nakuru Nursing Home and Maternity.

I work in the medical-surgical unit in a level 6 hospital with a 500-bed capacity.
Responsibilities;
- Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating critically ill patient’s outcomes.
- Carry out minor surgical procedures, screening, admissions, consultation, resuscitation, and stabilization of clients in the management of clinical emergencies.
- Ensure that all required observations, prescribed treatment, and procedures are correctly carried out and documented on patient’s charts.
