This study will use Secondary Data Analysis (SDA) of the data searched from credible databases. SDA will include the use of already existing research data to examine various effective mechanisms and techniques, which can be deployed in reintegrating the rehabilitated drug, and substance abusers back to the community. Secondary data can be substantial scope surveys or data gathered as a significant aspect of individual research. Even though there is a general understanding of sharing the results of substantial scope surveys, little knowledge exists about the present subject. The study will also employ a comparative analysis of the various sources in terms of the mechanisms. Although systematic reviews will be utilized to combine quantitative investigations on a particular point, research contends that the idea of systematic reviews and their attention on looking at contemplates that stress testing speculations are improper when various sorts of proof are being integrated. Additionally, there is a requirement for the understanding of studies. This study will include a critical interpretive synthesis (CIS) of literature distinguished through numerous search procedures
Limitations of the Study
A major limitation of this study, basing on secondary data analysis is the possibility of bias that could be present during the obtaining of the data. The author may not have clear visibility into the data and that can affect the study (Adams & Lawrence, 2018). However, to overcome this limitation, the study will strictly base on published peer-reviewed articles.
Research Credibility
For the researcher’s credibility, there are specific issues relating to the data that are acquired for secondary analysis. The research has to ensure that the data is sufficient, applicable, however, not excessively. In secondary data analysis, the initial data was not collected to respond to the current research question. In this way, it is ethical that the researcher should assess the data for specific criteria, for example, the methodology of data assortment, precision, time of data assortment, the reason for which it was gathered and the substance of the data
Ethical Procedures
This study will observe all the ethical considerations in terms of ethics for the use of secondary data. All data to be used will be acknowledged appropriately as ethics demand.
