Hello? I have
read your discussion post for this week, and I’m fascinated by your good work.
A health care policy change is good and can have far-reaching benefits
especially to NPs. EVIPNET has also played an important role in improving
public health by bringing proper coordination between health researchers and
policymakers (Chapman, 2013). You have said that you have not yet been involved
in the formulation of healthcare policies, but you attend hearings concerning
the same. This is a nice step for you, and it is also my belief that soon you
will actively participate in the process. Lastly, the advanced practice nurses
(APRNs) bill should pass because it will give NPs the autonomy to practice
their knowledge without limits. Thank you.

Hello Onyeukwu?
Nursing practitioners have played a key role in managing some of the
complicated infections that are disturbing many nations. However, a lot of
support is needed so that NPs can continue offering their services. Currently,
most NPs are not able to help people with mental problems and they end up
referring to other professionals (Roshanzadeh et al, 2018). The American
Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) provides nurses with a unified way of
networking and advocating their issues. There is a need for all nursing
practitioners to join this body and work for a common health goal. Finally,
granting nurses autonomy is a very important step in their efforts to provide
services(Roshanzadeh et al, 2018). The legislation will make it easier for NPs
in Florida to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, which has brought many things into a
standstill.

Hi Morfaw? The
healthcare system is very complicated and thus there is a need for this issue
to be addressed. There are no enough healthcare professionals in different
health centers because those who have trained to be NPs have not been fully
absorbed in the market (McDonough, 2014). You have mentioned that you have not
participated in any healthcare policy change, but with your enthusiasm, trust
me that you will participate in one soon. The nursing school needs major
reforms to make it a better place for people to get the right services
(McDonough, 2014). We should also stand up as nurses and participate directly
in these reforms for the benefit of the many patients around us.
Thank you.
