1). Death with dignity movement is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the freedom of all terminally ill and qualified Americans to make personal decisions to end their lives especially on how to die.
2). Someone may choose to end their life this way if faced with a terminal illness and have a short duration to live. Therefore, someone will choose to end their life with dignity rather than suffer and still die in the end.
3). Most people argue that death with dignity is important since it gives human beings a chance to choose for themselves and not a stranger who knows nothing about their lives. It is a way of giving patients control over their healthcare decisions. It is an end of suffering for both the patient and the people they love. It a chance for peace and freedom and to die with grace and peace. Those who do not support death with dignity argue that it reduces the relationship between the patient and doctor, possibilities of errors, decreased physician professionalism, and the slippery road towards the practice.
4). I agree that values align with death with dignity. This is because the greatest human freedom is to let them choose how they live and how they die based on their desires and beliefs.
