Description of Response to Questions
Hello class, working with other colleagues can be a very interesting and extremely engaging task, especially when working with new colleagues or workplace. I was opportune to work in a mini-restaurant as a part-time job as a lead instructor assistant during my holiday. Such kind of a scenario puts someone in an extremely proactive position and demands a well-calculated control over other employees and other vital skills and experience (Kuselias, 2017).
Response Approaches
During my work period in the mini-restaurant, I was privileged to enjoy a good working environment. For example, there was effective communication, understanding, openness, and information sharing among colleagues as a result of proper coordination and unity (Jobspeaker, 2016). Furthermore, authentic leadership played a crucial role in uniting and sharing of the various task, hence increasing work efficiency and reduce time waste. Attributes such as personality traits, effective communication, and authentic leadership skills were effectively practiced in the workplace (Jobspeaker, 2016). Equality and integrity existed in the workplace, and this played a crucial role in uniting and sharing ideas hence elevating and achieving success at work.
Selling Points and Experience
Experience from the previous work played a crucial role in instilling the vital skills required in the working environment. For example, effective communication among my colleagues and customers formed the basis of success (Big Interview, 2017). Moreover, confidence, friendliness, clarity, and concision improved throughout all my colleagues as they started learning and adapting the skills for proper communication (Big Interview, 2017). As a result, this played a role in improving personal relationships at the workplace, such as understanding and being able to relate with people of different diversities. Hence, these skills and experience will enable me to fit and work in vast workplaces without encountering issues with colleagues. My leadership skills, communication skills, and personalities improved immensely and I am now able to lead a team of colleagues in the workplace to attain success and objective of the business organization.
